There's a certain charm to Roses, their nonchalant attitude towards cleanliness is almost refreshing, I like that I can go here unshowered, in my pajamas and still feel like I am out of their league. I've enjoyed "slumming" it in the past, it's nice to not have to worry about social stigmas. The dirty tampon in the shoe aisle yesterday showed me that bathrooms are unnecessary, I will be ripping mine out without abandon from now on. The store has a dark ambiance, probably an attempt to hide the dirt and cheap quality of the products. I tell myself it's romantic, like a pay by the hour motel, it's an experience that leaves you longing for more... sanitizer and antibiotics.
