This evening here started out bad. We came here specifically to watch the fight and we normally go to Buffalo wild wings but I wanted different food and atmosphere so we came to Hooters prepared to spend money and watch the fight. While we were pulling into the parking lot we called Hooters and asked if there was a wait and she said no not yet but it could change. I asked for 2 and she said no for two we can get you in and we informed the mystery girl we were pulling in and parking and would be inside. We get inside and it's packed. The people in front of us got really angry because they had been waiting for a while and the servers kept talking about the tables for the fight and they just wanted to eat and leave. They asked the wait and one servor said 25 mins the manager was called upfront.. They left and walked out. When it was our turn we expected no wait since we just hung up with one of the girls but she said there was a wait and she didn't know how long. Then the manager said it could be 45 minutes and then another one said it's fight night so the wait would be until the end of the fight. (Isn't that when hooters closes?) I was ready to walk out and the manager then said he could get us in no wait. Our waitress was Ledger she was very sweet and friendly and a great server in a very busy environment and fast pace we still felt she was attentive. The food was great and hot and fresh we got sliders, Daytona wings the Mac and cheese and Cole slaw were amazing and the smothered chicken sandwich. I got every type of dessert shot and let me tell you every one of them was great. Chips and queso were amazing and the food is better here than Buffalo wild wings. A huge con is the bathrooms are disgusting and not cleaned at all. We both had to use the bathroom so I went to the ladies and him to the men's. The lady's room was so disgusting I held it the whole night until getting home and the men's bathroom apparently had over flowing urinals. They have no hand sanitizer and no one wears masks at all and if you're covid conscious that can be a big con. Another thing is the connection kept cutting out when watching the UFC fight. Ledgers positive attitude and smile turned our evening around. Ledger and the food and her quality service were the only reasons why hooters gets 3 stars from me. We made sure to tip her big because even though the kitchen was backed up and it was a busy night she was efficient and checked on us often and very professional. I'd come back here just for her service but use the...
Read more3rd edit: I am lowering back to 3 stars because my experience saturday night. Server was very rude to me, asked me to cash out before she even offered me food. This was like 25 mins after I got my drinks. I understand wanting your tips and wanting to go home but you cannot behave like a total bird brain and disrespect your customers and treat them like free banks. She left later and none of the other girls checked on me, I’d have to wave them down. Selfish narcissistic attitudes. Then I asked for chips to finish my nachos off with and didn’t get them for 40 minutes. When I asked one girl about it she gave me uppity attitude, was too proud to apologize. To make things worse I missed my own job that night to come in and watch the UFC fights, and the televisions were cutting out every 60 seconds cause of the storm; I definitely shoudlve been offered a discount or something. A server who is normally very kind to me - I asked her for a knife and she forgot. Which is okay- so I waved at her again and she never came over to help me. I left feeling BULLIED. Total bird brain behavior that night. Disgusting. I spoke to the manager about it tonight and he was very kind- so I’m not complaining about him at all. If it wasn’t for he and the other manager I would’ve taken this down to 2 Stars
Edit: I am raising back to 4 stars because the manager was kind and very remorseful. Had it not been for those experiences I discussed I would raise it to 5 stars
Honestly would like to give this place 5 stars. It’s nice on the inside and food is good, my go to spot for the UFC fights.
But when completing Uber eats orders, their manners are beyond disgraceful. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to just walk into the restaurant to go get orders, so I wait up front until someone greets me and gives me permission to go back to the order area. While waiting, a waitress with black hair just looks at me and keeps walking, doesn’t ask what I need or if I need a table or anything. The first time I stood there for over ten minutes and wasn’t even greeted. Then when I get to the pickup area, the lady speaking to the other coworker about some small-talk, she sees me there, doesn’t say hello, ignores me, continues her conversation for 30 seconds, then finally asks me what order I have. I can’t fathom having acted this way when I was working at a restaurant. Abysmal customer service, disgraceful. This new generation of humanity has no manners, it’s very sad. Some of these young brats need...
Read moreThe service is normally excellent!!!! Never had a problem with service. And food is normally good too. Honestly never had a problem there either.
Here’s the problem: We came to watch the ufc fight. The place was packed but we actually got a table quickly. Service, again, was excellent. To no fault of our amazing server, they ran out of glasses. So when my husband and father in law ordered another round, they brought out these other cups, not the large “big daddy” mugs we had been getting. We didn’t complain. It wasn’t a problem. But the cups were smaller. So when the check came we alerted our server to the issue of being charged for the larger beer than what we had. So she had to get her manager involved, that’s just how it goes. I know this. This guy comes out to our table, shaking, with a cup like they got and an empty “big daddy” mug. He proceeds to pour the cup into the glass which left over an inch of what the manager called “head space” in the mug. Mind you, the smaller cup also had “head space” when we received it. So that we can prove, about 2 oz of beer difference, which if it had been handled better, we would have said ok, and left it be and you wouldn’t be hearing from me. However, this manager proceeds to go off on how we’re paying for what we got, as if we ever said we weren’t paying our tab and my family isn’t one to just sit there and take it. So we paid our tabs, tipped our server (well) and asked for the manager to come back. I poured what was left from mine and my husbands waters into the one empty big daddy mug we had. Filled it to where it normally is when we get it. When the manager came back I poured this amount into the cup that’s the “same size” as this and it over flowed and spilled onto the table. Gave him a big ol “F you” and we left. My point being this manager came out to our table the first time instantly on the defensive. He could have come out nicely. Apologetic. Said there was confusion and been nice and maybe we would have ignored the whole thing. But no. He made sure to state that there were no other places close by showing the fight, implying that they could do whatever they wanted with the cups/ glasses. Our point to that being this isn’t the first fight you have shown... buy more damn glasses or a better dishwasher..... or at the very least serve the over flow beers in cups the same size as the ones...
