I was a huge fan of bobo design studios when they were in San Jose and an even bigger fan now that they have a dedicated shop in the heart of Palm Springs. The owner Angie is a true creator and her humility, love, humor, compassion, and artistry shines through her store and all of her work. I love the combination of goods she makes and designs herself plus a collection of other small biz faves as well as well-known stationary brands. I took my whole family to visit the store and everyone enjoyed the space, surrounding shops and coffee. I tell everyone when they visit PS to stroll through and check it out. It’s such a nice addition to the shopping scene in Palm Springs - quaint, sweet, humble, unique, and intentional, with a variety of goods you can’t find anywhere else. First off, the staff is seriously the sweetest. You walk in and just feel welcomed. Plus, if you’re like me and care about the values behind a business, you’ll love knowing that BOBO is led by an incredible woman of color who has created such a cool, supportive space.

They carry tons of exclusive pieces from different artists—especially POC and Queer creators—which I love. And if you’re looking to meet like-minded, crafty people, they host a Friday meetup at 5PM where you can journal, scrapbook, or just vibe with an amazing community.

I have been to this shop 3 times. And each time I was warmly greeted and welcomed. I didn't buy anything the first time. I don't own many things, as I live out of a van currently. Angie has so much talent and creativity. When I learned she designed a journal, I was very interested. She told me why she designed it the way she did. Everything is very intentional and so well thought through. Her travel tips are also amazing. I bought her travel journal to start keeping a log of where I been and how it was.
