The Michael Weems Collection — Attraction in Palm Springs

I was window shopping in Palm Springs this Winter when I saw the Michael Weems Gallery. I had to go inside. The 1st thing I noticed was lots of color! Michael makes hand blown glass in beautiful colors!

There are photographs of all sizes on the wall for sale. There's also jewelry, sculpture, dishes, and much more.

I like Michael's sense of humor - - very whimsical, and probably not for everybody, but what is?

Such a cool gallery. We were visiting PS for the first time and were drawn into this gallery. Michael was there and he was talking with some other visitors at first. He made sure to connect with us afterwards too. He and his team were both greeting and talking to everyone. That friendliness made for a relaxing and casual atmosphere. The prices are quite reasonable too. We are shipping back the “Slick Black City” ceramic vase which the shop took care of so we could keep exploring the city. 10/10 experience....

I was introduced to this gallery by my friend who has a number of the artist's works in his collection. It's pleasant getting to know the artist himself who has a fun sense of humor as he says something about his works found in the gallery. I soon noticed it's not a hard sell he's doing as he makes the art pieces himself. I got one ceramic doll head piece myself and that item reminds me of some horror movies, but which piece to me looks oddly fun and unique. I am sure I will...
