Pros:

Very friendly staff -Rooms are super clean -Gorgeous pool and courtyard -The restaurant next door is delicious! -Love that it is a family run business, lots of charm and character

Cons:

-Rooms 19-21 are located directly beside their very popular restaurant. We were staying in one of those rooms, which made for a noisy stay. At 8am the staff starts setting up the restaurant, so you can hear chairs and tables moving & people talking. At exactly 9am, restaurant music starts playing loudly and will continue on until 9pm. This made sleeping in or having a mid-day nap impossible. There was also very little privacy in these rooms, so if you'd like the windows or blinds open, there is just a thin wall of greenery separating you from the busy restaurant. When we got back to our rooms at the end of the day, you'll hear guests in the restaurant until about 9:30pm at night when it starts to quiet down. If you're an early riser and aren't going to bed until 9:30/10pm, this may not be an issue for you at all. We were hoping to catch up on some rest while staying there, so I just found the loudness and early morning music a bit frustrating. Overall it was still a lovely stay and I'd still recommend the hotel. Perhaps those rooms could come with a disclaimer about the noise and be offered at a reduced price? -They have several signs around the pool strictly stating no outside food or drink, not even water, but you're allowed to bring food from the restaurant. I found this a bit strange, as I wanted to have some fruit and water in the hot sun. -There is no fridge located...

Went here for dinner on a Thursday night. The location has a lovely atmosphere with a large outdoor patio. Had to wait about 15 mins as they didn't take reservations but that's kind of expected. We got a maragarita while we were waiting (just the standard "large" one). They had one woman working at the bar (the restaurant provably seats a hundred) which seems a little short sighted. I was a bit disappointed when she squeezed a couple limes in the glasses and then poured pre mixed Margarita mix (like not even made in house, basically the stuff you buy from costco) into the cups. The people before us I guess ordered the "top shelf" margaritas which were made fresh and looked pretty awesome, so I was quite disappointed. This is the main reason why I'm giving four stars not five. Everything else was awesome once we were seated. Got some nacho chips and and salsa straight away. We were struggling a bit with the menu (many dishes we didn't know what they were) and the manager/owner (?) spotted this amongst the dozens of tables and came over to help. The service was excellent and quick. Once we ordered the meals came out in about 10-15 mins which I was very impressed by given how busy it was. The food was excellent, great use of spices. Refried beans were the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The chicken with the mole sauce was what I had and I really enjoyed it. Would definitely go again, but would 100% splurge in the "higher...

I give this place 97 3/4 out of 100. Smallish boutique hotel in the heart of old town Palm Springs. Little rooms tucked into the lush courtyard and all are near the pool. The service was friendly and warm. That includes Mirasol restaurant that’s attached to the hotel. They have great food and a wonderful staff! Plus, they’ll deliver their fabulous Mexican food poolside or to your room. Hip green cruiser bikes are available to check out (for no extra charge) which we did and enjoyed a cruise around the area. Hot tub and pool were great and we nearly had them to ourselves for an entire week. Find the almost hidden stairs to the almost hidden rooftop lounge area. Great spot to bring a book. We deducted 2 1/4 points from our rating for a couple of minor details including the sign at the pool saying no outside food or drinks, including water. No water, in the desert? But of course you can buy even that at the restaurant. But the restaurant is not open on Monday or Tuesday so…Dumb sign, and dumb rule. The people I saw ignored it. I was taught that if everyone’s breaking the rule, maybe you should have another look at the rule. Just sayin’. Don’t let that dissuade you from staying at this darling, well located little place. We can’t...

I booked Los Arboles over New years eve. What a wonderful hotel in the heart of Palm Springs close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel has bikes for the guests if you don't like walking. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms are spotless and designed well. The rooms are on the small side so know that. Beds are very comfortable the floors are tile. The walls could be a bit more sound proof that was the only negative about this property I put on the air unit and it helped block the conversation in the room next to me.The property is romantic and relaxing. The pool and jacuzzi are inviting. Know that the rooms do not have phones in them. The restaurant that is part of the hotel is delicious and authentic mexican food the margaritas are outstanding. This hotel is a true gem and I look forward to my next stay. I highly recommend.

After two weeks on the road, this place felt like heaven. We really needed to unwind, and so we did at the pool. It was very relaxing. The rooms are superb. Aircon works great. Beds were fantastic. Especially after two weeks on the road. Extra cheers to the housekeepers and gardner. They do an excellent job maintaining the place
