Today was a special mother daughter day including unlimited credit card allowance from my husband. Went to Aritzia because it’s my daughter’s favorite store and she doesn’t have Aritzia where she lives. I found several items I wanted to try and headed to the dressing room. The red headed cashier was helping someone adjacent to the dressing room entrance and for some reason looked at me panicking as I headed to the dressing room. She literally left her cashier post and customer to follow me in and only left when she saw that another employee helped me into a room. I was so troubled by her bizarre behavior and clear insinuation that I was somehow up to no good and potentially a thief. This bothered me so much that despite liking several of the items I tried on, I could not get past the incredibly rude behavior and decided I most definitely would not purchase from your store. I carefully put each item back in the hanger and walked them out to the little room where they keep the unwanted items to return to the floor. I hung them up there and was instantly approached by little miss redhead and another worker who asked “Did you just place some items in this room?” I responded, “Yes I did and I did not steal anything.” So let me share with you that I have never stolen a thing in my life. Not a stick of gum, not anything ever. I wasn’t raised that way and I’m still baffled hours later at your ridiculous behavior to a genuine shopper with intentions on purchasing items…not stealing…purchasing. I will not return to your store and I strongly suggest you go through some employee training. Read moreWorst shopping experience. Weird, pushy, stalker-like staff that do not respect personal space. I was visiting the area from UK and thought I would take a look in Aritzia to see if there was anything of interest. I was browsing the clothing when a member of staff asked if I need any assistance to which I replied no and that I am all good. A few minutes later the same shop assistant was back, lingering around me in a very strange, stalker-like way, and started to ask if I had heard of the brand before, where I was from and then my name! It was way too personal and unbalanced as other people were shopping and not being hounded in the same way. As I continued to browse, the shop assistant continued to follow me around, forcing conversation. Every time I moved, she followed. She continued to ask me questions (non-brand related) and I informed her that I was waiting for my son and husband, to which she replied "oh, Is that what the backpack is for" (pointing to the Toy Story bag on my back). The backpack clearly triggered the sales assistant and the weird stalker-like vibe that I had been getting all made sense now, but how ridiculous! Spending time profiling someone in a child's backpack whilst all the other customers were coming and going (and clearly not being monitored by her because she was too focused on me), it's a humorous double standard. I tried a dress in the store 2 weeks ago and since at that time there was no size available in the store that fits me, they helped me ordered one online. After 2 weeks I still haven't received my order or any tracking information so I called the store today to ask about my order. It is obviously their system's bug or defect that they couldn't see my order under my profile. They asked my to call the concierge because they can't do anything their end. I asked why they can't help me contact the concierge, it is their system's problem and they should improve this for better user experience, isn't that true? The girl who answered my phone was really unhappy and impatient with my request and hang up my phone! Ridiculous! Anyway, I called the concierge myself and they told me my order label was created with Fedex the day I placed that order in store but hasn't been shipped yet. 2 weeks, are you kidding me? My order was forgotten and no one cares about it... I can't believe such out-dated ordering system still exists in 21st century! Never place an order online in store with them, it takes forever to track your order. If they don't have the size, go home and order online yourself.
