Burlington — Local services in Papillion

If I was rating on pricing a selection alone, I would have gone with 4-5 stars. However, the manager of the store has lost my business moving forward. I went to pick up a layaway today. There were some items missing, which was fine and I politely advised them of it. The manager over the 2-way radio starting huffing and puffing go find these missing items. She then brings up the items as she, in a loud voice, explains how tired, sick, and "over" she is with this layaway program and she hopes it is never offered again. Furthermore, I asked for a sack for these missing items her response was "I don't have bags for those". When clearly I was already holding a bag with my other items which was of a size that would have been able to accommodate the remaining items. Some folks really enjoy the layaway program and some may even rely on it given the current pandemic situation. No consumer needs the manager making them feel that their choice to do business with Burlington is an inconvenience or otherwise not welcomed. I spend A LOT of money at Burlington stores and as long as that gal runs the Papillon store, it will not be getting...

This is our favorite store, unfortunately the man waiting at the door with the red shirt wouldn't let us in at 10:00 when they closed at 10:30. We were coming in to buy 4 carpets, so, over $300 purchase. Instead of telling us why he wouldn't let us in he just smirked a smug look at us and then stopped looking at us. It was a real letdown. We spend over $1000 a month at this store but probably won't come back anymore. If something happened that night, you could have just told us, we would understand. We love all the cashiers and staff otherwise. We are really disappointed and went to JCPENNEY and spent $400 on their rugs instead the next day. We went into this store with an open mind. We have been to the other store on Center St., only to be disappointed with the condition of the store. They both have decent prices with good quality items. That being said, if you can find the items you want in your size, you should get a medal! Displaced items, garments all over the sales floor, and disorganized displays seem to be the norm. Oh well, if you have a couple of hours to kill and walk out with one or two things, this store is for you. ALSO, we were there for about 1/2 hr., 45 minutes, and the security alarm went off 3 times. No store personnel did...
