On Feb 12 I tried to order a Levian ring that was advertised at $857. I was told that it was no longer available and chose a different one that was $1040.00. After I got me ring I saw another ad with the original ring now at $1285.71. $428 higher than the original ad from two weeks ago. I really wanted this ring and decided to order only to have them cancel my order two days later telling me it was no longer available. The very next day there is another advertisement for the exact same ring but the new cost is $1607.00. Yep, it is available to me for $1607 and they refuse to honor the $857 price because they said I did not place that order. I did place the order, but was told it did not go thru because the ring is no longer available. They need to stand up and honor the correct price!!!! Not only that, I have my confirmation telling my ring is on it's way and they describe it as 34CTS Peach Morganite with 13 CTS of chocolate and Nude Diamonds. I WANT THIS RING THAT THEY ARE CONFIRMING! I thought I ordered a ring that was 3/4 ct Peach Morganite with 1/3 cts Chocolate and Nude Diamonds. The ring they canceled they confirmed as a 12 CT Peach Morganite. I need to return the 2nd choice ring. If they can not stand behind what they advertise then they are not worth shopping at. Bait and Switch? Double the pricing??? Sounds like a place we should all avoid!!!!!! I can not continue to shop at an establishment that treats customers this way. Read moreThese are my personal experiences. It has been about a year or more that I stepped into this store and at the time, I wasn't so impressed with the inventory the had in the store. I bought 1 thing and it was a bedding item, Jc penny card or not , it was pricey but good quality, no qualms. Fast forward to June '22. I saw many nice styles and picked out two pieces and headed to the checkout. There were two ladies ahead of me one with a return, only two people at the front end. As I waited behind the wait here sign, I heard the cashier say after she totaled the amount, turn to the customer and say, are you using your JCP card, the lady said no. Then the cashier said" you could save $24 if you put it on the card. The lady said, ' I don't want to put it on that card" the cashier said" you could have save x amount of money " the lady didn't reply, paid and left. Same thing happen to me. Obviously the cashier or associates want to make people feel bad by not using their JCP card. Why? Some people don't want more debt, and your not really saving any money because their interest rate on that store card is 21%, unless you pay off your payment right away, maybe true, but if you have a balance, then not so. I called the 800 number to check on my online order that I made in the store on September 11, 2016 due to they did not have the size of shirt my son needed. I asked the sales clerk before placing the order when the item will be at the store for pick up as I needed it by September 17th. She told me it should be there by the 16th and I again asked her if she is sure because I needed it by the 17th. She assured me it would be there before the 17th. When I called the 800 they told me they couldn't track my order because I was having it delivered to the store so I would have to contact the store. Ok, so I contact the store (at least the automated system) and I had to end up pushing every department option to try and speak to someone. The jewelry department finally picked up so I asked to speak to a manager. I received the manager and when I told her that for the last 15 minutes I tried all the departments on the automated system and no one answered except for jewelry she laughed. Offered no apologies or anything. Incredible!! Now I have to wait for someone to call me back because I asked for a refund since my order won't be here...
