Five Below — Local services in Papillion

I came in during a busy time and all of the self check outs were down and there was one girl checking people out. She stopped in the middle of a transaction to stop message and call her friend into the store and get him to buy her a water. After he came in and grabbed it and got in line she got back on her phone (stopping a different transaction) and called a coworker up to have her friend cut the line and check out. This was not a line that had maybe one or two people; it was close to 10-12 people in the line. After she got her bottle she then stopped to hug her friend delaying a third transaction. As it was our turn to check out she stopped AGAIN to proceeded to try and open it with her mouth for 5 minutes while we waited for her to scan our items and finish checking us out. This is either 5 below not allowing their employees adequate time to get water/breaks and overworking their employees or their lack of training their employees. The stock is very good. The store is clean. The prices are right. However, you check yourself out and never have any dealings with a human in the store at all. No one says hello to you when you walk in, or goodbye when you leave. I felt like it was a self-serve all the way. There was some things on the wall that I couldn't reach but couldn't find anyone to assist me with them. I know there are staffing there someplace, they must have been hiding...

The manager here is very nice. I returned some food items because they were expired and he was so apologetic. After the return my husband and I were looking around and the manager gave me two new unexpired products to replace the ones I returned for free and apologized again. What a nice gesture!! And I love the selection of fun books...
