I am disappointed in the way things are displayed using signs that have very small fine print making it misleading. Tonight at the checkout there was a table filled with Halloween candy of all kinds. I decide to grab a few things only because of the seemingly awesome price. When I got out to the car I noticed that NONE of the candy I chose came up 70% off so I returned inside. I went to customer service where they proceeded to call a manager over. Where did I go wrong? Because the sign said UP TO 70% off not ALL 70% Off. well I am sorry if you are going to put a sign right in front of the items I grabbed then that should be the price. Not to mention the words âup toâ you need a magnifying glass to see!! I am so sick of the shady practices of retailers! Looking at my receipt NONE of the candy I chose was 70% off!! Itâs the principle of the matter. People are going to continue to buy that candy thinking they are getting a deal while the store continues to collect. If there had been the slightest bit of compassion or the manager agreeing with me that the table was set up confusing it wouldnât be a big deal but I am seriously over places that could care less about...

The supervisor or manager âRichâ can always be heard on the weekends barking orders to his checkout staff to push the cards over and over. I feel bad for his staff. Makes me glad I donât work with him. Today, when I was checking out, I declined the nice employeeâs pitch for the credit card and paid cash for my purchase. Rich walked behind the checkout lady and said âman itâs a cash kind of day. Everyone keeps saying âhere, take my cash because I donât want to save any money by opening up a card account.ââ Even though he wasnât talking to me directly, I spoke up, defending my payment method and said my two cents about what I think about credit cards and the state of this nationâs overwhelming personal debt crisis. He just brushed me off and moved on but I thought it was quite unprofessional to make rude comments like that about a customersâs payment method. Not sure if Iâll be returning to this Kohlâs...
   Read moreDebbie is her name. My Customer Service Champion of my visit. I had a pair of Nike tennis shoes I bought 7 months ago. Never wore them because they were off a half size. Depends today on where they were made, gotta try them on! So I bought the identical pair on line (Kohls) and sent them to my Papillion NE store. So I took the 7 month old pair and Debbie took the time to ensure I did not pay any more than I originally did on the original pair. It was quite the price difference but she did "the right thing". Unfortunately you DO NOT find that kind of service much but Debbie impressed me and thats why I keep going back to KOHLS! Lower was my first post a long time ago for the same Kohls. WOW WOW WOW! 5 STAR store. Happy people work at KOHLS in Papillion, NE. Thank you Debbie!!
