The Big Apple Coaster — Local services in Paradise

They require to rent a locker (which they don't inform you of beforehand) and not even allow you to keep your wallet on your person. Cell phone, okay sure, I get that they want to milk you for more money on photos, annoying, but whatever, so at first I go to grab a locker and get back in line and the girl tells me I can't have anything in my pockets including my wallet which she indicates is visible. What kind of lunacy is this policy? I do not trust their makeshift lockers with my most essential vegas and travel item. Also note, they have you enter your locker pass code twice on a screen right out in the open of crowded people without any considerations to help you protect that code from any others sight. No thanks. I demanded a refund. I have to wonder how often theft occurs here with their ridiculous policy that makes absolutely no logical sense. Do they think I'm going to make a drug deal on the ride or something? It makes no sense. Regardless, with their lack of security awareness precautions and glibness on the matter is more than enough to avoid bothering. My friend and I rode this around 10:25pm on a Sunday evening. There was no line at all. It was nice. This was my second time riding it. I rode it the last I was in Vegas 2 years ago.

The weather was perfect! This is definitely not a ride you want to do in the middle of a hot day! I made that mistake the last time lol.

I didn’t like how there was no working or any hype, that’s typically for roller coasters. The ride just started without warning or anything. A couple staff members did clap upon return, which is what they did for all the rides. I’m not sure why there was a lack of hype in the beginning.

There is 2-3 areas along the ride with cameras that will take your picture, which is cool. A photographer will take your picture on the ride before it starts as well.

Electronics are not allowed on the ride. My bff didn’t want to get on, so he held our items while we did the ride. They do offer military discounts. this roller coaster is terrible to start off it’s 25$ per rider which is pricey and definitely not worth it. theres no phones aloud and you have to pay for a locker. the line was 45 minutes long and very slow the ride itself was fun but the seatbelt’s aren’t even seatbelts they are full on constraining harnesses. at the very end of the ride we were stuck for 30 minutes in the dark screaming for help in 95 degrees they had to shut down the whole ride and no workers came up to check on anyone meanwhile there was a boy having an asthma attack who looked about 13 years old nobody had there phone except 1 person who ended up calling 911 since there was no communication that they knew we were stuck other than a shitty speaker that couldn’t even form an understandable sentence whatsoever. waste of time and such a...
