A recent Instagram post by @BurlingtonDeals featuring a cute girl with some SpongeBob gear inspired me to stop in this local store.
Burlington's are notorious for a few things.
This store was all but messy. Some sections inventory seemed to lack thereof, specifically the dress and swimsuit selection for plus size women. There was some retro cartoon clothing across the store which is what I came for. Was lucky to find a decent priced furry rug with sparkles.
Cashier was very nice and admired the rug herself. One person that stood out was the loss prevention person (as her vest she was wearing was labeled). She greeted and welcomed every single person and wished them a good day upon their exit!
Covid 19: The nice women wiped down every cart. There was a table at the front of the store with masks, spray, paper towels and sanitizer for use. Each register had sanitizer as well.
Returns: Could be improved with a separate line for returns (so I took one star off). I entered the store and had a return. The line was zig zagging through the designated line aisles, very long. I wanted to return my items first then start shopping but because it was all one line, I opted to shop first. I hate doing this because unfortunately this is America and I do not want anyone to ever accuse me of adding something to the bag I walked in with. I'd rather keep them separate and return 1st and then shop and checkout to purchase new items.
Update: bathrooms are very clean and modern!...
Read moreThis location at 8253 W Ridgewood Dr, Parma, OH 44129 has the manager who disrespected me yesterday and talked to me in a dog-like manner. She acted absolutely unacceptable. at 10pm there was a line of people, and they only had one cashier . So in the end I stood in line till 10.20pm and had to leave without purchasing anything, because I was out of time, and there was no end to all this. Nobody of the working crew apologized for the wait or inconvenience, the manager didn't even care about helping me out on top of her rudeness and ghetto behavior . When I asked for her employee number because I would like to address that type of behavior to her superior, she cynically answered that she is not gonna give me anything . There was one person behind me in the line, the current employee whose last day in Burlington was going to be in less than a week and he was super sweet enough to apologize for the whole situation because he felt bad even though he was off duty. Who hires such low class people into managing position? All they do is flex their minimal power on customers in the most unacceptable manner. For a second I felt like I'm in a 3rd world country like North Korea or China, what happened to quality customer service in USA? I have never been treated like this in any Burlington...
Read moreStopped in a about a month ago. Waited in line FOREVER as usual (between 20-30 min).. finally get called to the register and the girl just walks away..so im standing there for a few min wondering if shes coming back, etc.. so then a Mgr (I'm assuming) comes up to the register next to me. She see's me standing there with no cashier, doesn't say anything, but proceeds to tell/gossip with ANOTHER cashier about how the customers were in the store "tearing it up" and how people don't read signs. So now I walk over to her line and explain how my cashier just left me, and if possible I'd really like to pay for my stuff and be on my way sometime this evening since I literally waited in line for over 20 freaking minutes. This woman still doesn't say anything to me but looks back to the other cashier to ask where mine went (the bathroom). Gotta be kidding me.. lucky i made it out at all, i guess 🙄. I suppose i could still be...
