I'm a regular here and most of the times I have been here have been a pleasant and quick experience but after noticing it more recently, I have no choice but to bring it up. One of the chefs is constantly talking down to her employees. Everytime I'm there she is directing and telling them what to do but isn't doing any work herself. The way she demeans and belittles them is very uncomfortable. And there has been more than one incident like this. I can name countless times where I've come into Piada with a packed line and there has only been one person making food and nobody else helping them until someone tells for help and one of the chefs slowly walks over to criticize the person for not being fast enough. I could see how hard they were working. When I was a teenager, I worked many restaurant jobs but my manager always tried to build me up not tear me down. I'm not sure of her name but I know that she is a young, skinny, African American girl who wears one of those white coats. I dont know if she is a manager but if she is, she is a horrible example of what a manager should be. It seems as though she is very young and she's on some type of power trip. She has a huge ego. I've seen a lot of other reviews about her and none of them have got responded too. She must control that too.
