I had to drive 30 minutes to find a product that my other local department store didn’t have, so I figured I would check to see the availability first before driving that far (gas isn’t exactly cheap right now). I called to be greeted by an automated voice spewing off information I really don’t need to hear only to be directed to one of three options: Information about the store, Specific department or Pharmacy.
I decided to wait and hope it just redirected me to Customer Service or an available associate, and it did by starting to ring out the dial tone.
I waited for about two minutes before the system (not me or on my end) cut out. Nobody picks up the phones at this location (the same thing happened about four months ago too) and that’s why they’re getting this low rating. The only reason you’re getting two stars is that your store actually ended up having one of the two things I needed: props to your stocking crew (I guarantee this company doesn’t give them the respect they so rightfully deserve).
I’ll be happy to fix the rating to 3 stars if you answer your phone next time and offer some customer service instead of ignoring the call and/or hanging up on me like some...
Read moreThey only have one sales associate that mans the customer service return register. They literally have no other cashiers that work at any registers, all computerized self check outside, which I can't stand. When I have a cart full of $150.00 in infant items, I don't want to scan and then bag my own items. It is absolutely ridiculous. When I have asked if they ever have any sales associates at the registers, I was told during busy times like the weekend but that is a lie as I have been to this store on the weekend and still never any cashiers. I was so excited when this store opened but it is a true disappointment because of the lack of cashiers. I instead go to Walmart in Boonton more often because at least they hire and employ actual cashiers, which saves me time and frustration. If this location doesn't hire some actual cashiers or won't last. In addition, coupons that are in my Target wallet often fail to be applied to my orders at the self check out which causes me to lose more time and money as I have to wait around for an associate to come to the self check out and help me. Read moreI am beyond disappointed with my experience and have reached out to Target corporate who did nothing to try to make me feel better about using target in the future and only indicated policy can change day by day and its the discretion of the store... I went to purchase formula and was told I could only purchase 4 bottles even though I have purchased over 10 bottles at the same store in the past. There were plenty extra on the shelves as I always leave numerous for other moms. I confirmed there were no signs indicating that there quantity limits about formula and the picture of the quantity limit I do have does not state anything about formula. Online I can order 8, but I cant use my coupons. Since we are on a budget during a pandemic, I drove to the store to make the 8 bottle purchase. I am extremely disappointed that I drove 25 minutes each way to the target for and cant even feed my son until the weekend when I can get more. There was no effort on Target's behalf to make this right or help with this process. I am beyond disappointed especially as a mom trying to feed her kid...
