Smashburger — Restaurant in Parsippany-Troy Hills

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Associates were miserable, cashier had an attitude problem, cooks looked like they did not want to be there and shift supervisor was rude and unprofessional. After about 15 minutes only half the food came out and came out incorrectly. To make a long story short, after receiving attitudes from the cashier and shift supervisor I decided to take the loss and go somewhere else. This took place Sunday 4/21/24 around 6p. Needless to say, I watched them also turn customers away by saying it was going to be an hour plus wait…. (There was only 2 other customers there and the amount of customers they lost as well as all the negative experiences they were handing out was mind boggling.) The role of a leader is to coach, guide, and inspire others. They motivate teams through challenging times and guide individuals through their career progressions. This woman was the complete opposite, smh….. Smashburger, I am disappointed. I would usually blame it on training but I do not think this is the case due to the fact that I have been here multiple times before and have had very positive experiences with other staff members. Before tonight I would have given 5 stars for food and service....

Very poor experience. If you scroll down you will see a similar experience someone else had doing a take out at this time. I think you need to performance manage out these evening workers. There were just two other customers who were finishing their meal and yet the lady made us wait for 10 mins to take our order for a take out. She was more bothered about packing orders for pick up while her colleagues inside were busy chatting. To make us feel worse, the lady took an order for a couple who came to dine in after us and served them their entire order while we were still waiting for our take out! We bought one double Jalapeño and two single Jalapeño sandwiches and one hot fries. The fries were cold and the sandwich had no taste of the chipotle sauce. We could not taste the jalapeños either. Overall they were really bad. We will never again visit this place and we will certainly let others know about the poor experience. This location is the Parsippany location...

I heard about Smash Burger thru a friend. So I found this location thru Google. I was greeted by Mykala (she took my order) & and she was so pleasant and patient with me because I’m so extra when it comes to my food😩😂 Anyway, she took my order & even went to the cook (Jamel) & clarified it. He looked at me crazy at first & laughed and said ok and boy did he deliver. The food was cooked to perfection, I don’t know where they get their chicken from but I can tell it’s quality chicken, the chicken breast is thick & juicy & holds its crisp even with all the fixings on it. Jamel even came to the table to check & made sure I was satisfied with everything. It was truly a pleasant, comfortable, clean and laid back atmosphere. Everyone was really down to earth. Made me feel like a regular on my first visit. Thanks you guys,...
