This store is horribly managed, and extremely slow. I am an Uber Eats driver, so I pick up orders from here quite often. Nearly every time I pick up an order, I'm stuck waiting for 15-25 minutes. There is usually 5-6 other people sitting around waiting to pick up their order. I've worked at restaurants like Chipotle before, so I understand what it's like to be in the kitchen. I have noticed that for some bizarre reason, most of the employees CANNOT work on online/delivery orders. There is always one kid running around the restaurant working the pass, making orders, and handling the register. Then the rest of the employees are either cleaning, or making the orders ONLY for the customers in-store. I've seen three employees standing around doing nothing but chatting while there are a pile of online orders just waiting to be done. One of these employees said, "I'm going to organize the tickets for you." So they acknowledged there were online orders that needed to be done, but for some insane reason he could not work on them. Instead, he had to sit around and wait for the one other employee who was already insanely busy. WHY can only certain employees handle online orders? I simply cannot fathom why this is a thing. The online orders constantly get shifted to the end of the line, and they just sit there until one kid comes out to handle EVERYTHING.
Despite this restaurant being horribly ran, I just want to commend this one employee who is doing literally everything he can. He is polite to customers, shows a lot of effort into making orders and getting them out, and literally does everything. I've seen him begging his coworkers to give him a hand, and it constantly falls on deaf ears. I don't know what is going on behind the scenes, but it's an embarrassment to see how the...
Read moreThis isn't my first negative experience at this location. But today I decide to write because I am still very upset on how my "simple" situation was handle. On my way to work my app picked the wrong location for Chipotle. On my first call I spoke to a very nice lady named Olivia who instructed me what to do in order to get refund on my order. After I tried few times unsuccessfully contacting the 800 number I called the store back and got "disconnected" then called twice more and the phone just rang...I decided to call once more and finally I got connected to a "Manager" who refused to give me her name (she claimed I was screaming on the phone) She obviously didn't want to deal with me because I was still calm until she refused to shared her name. All I wanted was to know who I was speaking to. She said was company policy...later when I finally got through and spoke to customer service they informed me (which I already suspected) there is no such a policy. The way this person handle my call I can judge she was no manager and if indeed she really is, she definitely needs a FULL training from customer care to properly handling stressful situations. She never even asked for my name. She was so rude, but I am not surprised, because most of the employees at this location doesn't show good consumer service. Very different from Rockaway and Morris Plains NJ locations. Anyhow customer service was a different...
Read moreI usually go to the chipotle in Secaucus but had to run to Parsippany to pick up something I ordered online at another store. Anyway, I have never been so disgusted. The store is busy, but not as busy as my usual spot, it’s filthy, the staff was so uninterested that I thought I was in the twilight zone. My son ordered a burrito and the kid put a tiny bit of rice, my son asked for more and he put a tiny bit more, not nearly enough but my son gave up, then he went to the steak that was as dry as jerky. He ordered his toppings then when it came to folding the burrito the girl acted like she was being trained, clueless, she wrapped it and held it together until she could get it into the foil. I complained to the register girl who said I could give you another burrito but it’s fifty cents. At that point I just wanted to get my stuff and get away from the whole section. We sat to eat after trying to find a somewhat clean area….. and tried to eat. My son couldn’t eat his burrito without a fork and was pretty upset. He got honor roll and chose this dump for his celebratory meal. No I’m not opposed to taking him to a a nice restaurant, but this was what he wanted. Lesson learned, keep driving if your craving Chipotle in Parsippany. I could gag just thinking about it. I could’ve taken my thirty and bought a scratch off ticket or threw it in the sewer at least I wouldn’t feel like puking. Yes, it really...
