The manager did speak to me about overcharging me for the towel. She couldn't find my transactions l because she was looking at the wrong day I made the purchase 6/24 she was looking at 6/25. I ended up calling the store after she called me a liar and corrected her. She said the price was an error but if that's true wouldn't it just ring up $18 not $55? Either the system should be fixed or the employee at the time should have known that charging $55 for the Sanrio 60th anniversary towel was wrong and not the correct price. That $30 difference should not have gone unnoticed. It went unnoticed by me because I did purchase a bunch of stuff so the final price made sense at the time, nothing had price tags, I wasn't expecting it to be more than $20/$25, and the register didn't show the prices as items were being rang up. How many other people have over paid because of this shady business practice? I spoke with the manager, Emily, and she said I could return the towel to have the price error fixed and get it at the correct price. But I decided that traveling the 100 + miles round trip to fix their mistake wasn't worth it. They should just try not to scam people and I wouldn't have to travel out of my way TWICE. I will never return to this store and I suggest always double checking other stores to make sure it's the right price. Monrovia has this towel for $18 that's how I found out about...

I love this store. They have some items from Japan that can't be found on the official Sanrio website and other Sanrio stores. I am always greeted with a friendly "Hi." I love going during the weekends, because the owner is very friendly and helpful. This store also gives you bags for your items that aren't in other stores. Love collecting bags.

I have read some complaints about them being very watchful and how they feel racist. I am Asian and they also watch me. I honestly think they are just protecting their store and it shouldn't be taken personally.

I also like how quickly they resolve problems. Once I bought a towel and when I got home I realized the same item was a bit cheaper online. I called and payed me back the difference. Great...

Cute small shop has a huge inventory of lots of Sanrio products. Pricing is of course "not cheap" (trademark, genuine products), if your a fan you won't leave without a lil something red or pink!
