Ghost Tech Center — Local services in Passaic

Worst of the worst! I went to this store a week ago as it is close to work. I replaced my wife's cracked iPhone6. They must have installed a faulty (or defective) screen on my iPhone 6. The phone has two spots like dots that were lit up when I picked it up. The spots looked like pressure points and they never existed when we bought the phone a year or two ago.

Well, without using the phone as it was always on airplane mode, the phone developed two straight line cracks, one horizontal and one vertical. Both cracks met at one of those light spots I referred to earlier.

When the phone was returned, I got concerned about those two pressure points on the screen. The employee mentioned "if you have any problems with the screen, we will replace it no cost". Well, $80 later, and $10 for the protector, the screen cracked. The phone was not used at all!

When I took it back, the owner said "there is nothing I can do about it". He offered for me to pay him again to fix it. The screen was faulty or defective. I would not pay him again to put that crappy material they use.

My advice to anyone thinking of using these CROOKS: stay away from this store! Pay $30 more to Apple and get it done right!

highly recommended... the glass on my iphone broke yesterday. a friend recommended ghost tech center in Clifton to do the repairs. so I went over there today all set for the typical retail garbage experience of poor customer service, expensive repairs ('you should have bought the insurance') and crummy work. what a surprise. that's not what happened.!

the woman who ran the store was extremely courteous. with a warm smile, she assured me 'no worries, we do this all the time'. she told me the price- which was $20 cheaper than anywhere else and said that I could wait or come back in a half hour. so I went around the corner to lucky's diner for lunch and when I got back, the phone was fixed. you couldn't tell that the glass was replaced. it looked like factory installed. not only that, they also installed a tempered glass cover with the repair. something I wasn't even expecting. very satisfied...

so, if you buy an iphone you don't need the costly insurance the wireless companies charge you every month. and if it breaks, just go to ghost tech center...

The guy is nice I've gone about 5 times yet every time I go I leave and something else on my phone wasn't working I thought my phone was just a piece of junk at first and then began to realize he was most likely replacing working parts in my phone with faulty ones just to be able to charge me for the original ones back and the labor . I'm never going back again . No offense to anybody but I'd honestly rather a white person work on my phone this guy acted like my best friend every time I went in there and he's a crook. I've had bad experiences upon bad experiences going to these main ave stores in Clifton and Patterson trying to get my phone fixed they're either like this guy or way too over priced I don't trust any of...
