Selena Bakery — Restaurant in Passaic

I ordered a cake we live about 45 min away. Which is no problem if the cake is worth it. First, we just stood there with no one acknowledging our presence. Second, cake was getting what we wanted written on it as we are standing there. What's the point of ordering ahead of time if they are just going to do it there. Third, while in the car my seat and my legs got drained in tres leches seemed to me like the milk was put a little before we got there because the bottom of the cake was still warm. We had to have the AC on full blast to avoid the icing from coming off the cake because some parts were just sliding off. When we finally got to cutting the cake it wasnt moist and the bottom was so burnt it was bitter. Was our first time ordering because we had heard good things but never again. What an...

ZERO STARS IF IT WERE ME. Horrible service. I went in there one day to ask to make a birthday cake for my girlfriend and was told they could not, when my girlfriends mother asked the same thing and got her request accepted. But once the cake was ready, her mother recognized the poor quality design of the cake. It was supposed to be a birthday cake filled with makeup on top like lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes, concealer, etc.. it was made out of cardboard and you could clearly see the glue and the circles for the palettes were cut out unevenly. My husband went in for a dulce de leche cake and informed the worker Angie. My husband speaks English not Spanish and isn’t from the town and asked for the dulce de leche and she sold him a tres leches cakes with out telling him that all their cakes are tres leches and her excuse was I’m no physic but he asked for a different cake and you choose to not state that . Wouldn’t recommend this place not worth the hassle and price.
