Back down to 1*. Totally mind blowing how ignorant they are about beer. They will not even consider requests and also go so far as to accuse customers of asking for items that won't move. But they'll get in sour beers that aren't requested and unsurprisingly don't move (I certainly don't buy any and I see them sitting on the shelf for a long time)... Then they go so far as to deny a customer request for something that was previously carried and did move well, while actually accusing me of being the problem of the slow moving beer that I didn't request!!!
Totally lame. Disgusting customer service.
I get that they might not understand the style. But maybe listen to customers and move more product.... Asking for a deposit on half a case of beer is asinine. If I took 1 4pack and 2 4packs were left, they're risking losing a customer over $40 max. That's sad.
If they don't believe me that the beer sold well in the past, they could check historical inventory data. It shouldn't be hard to check historical sales records, if you're a competent store owner.
Last time they argued with me about a product, they realized they were wrong when it moved quickly and they even ended up getting in another case. They even ordered it again this year without me asking. Only took a hideous 1-star review to make that happen though... See below....
"Old 1-star review I've never seen a liquor store go downhill so fast!! It's very unfortunate... This used to be the best place in the area to buy a large variety of craft beer... Now the shelves are looking very bare. They haven't gotten in anything new or good in over a month. And the new management is extremely rude!
If you're a craft beer lover, do yourself a favor and go shop at Brandon's instead.
The last time I made a special request I was told that I had to buy half a case. I committed to half a case and bought it. When I went to check out some new lady manager started YELLING at me and told me that she accidentally bought a whole case and I needed to buy the whole thing because it would NEVER sell. She's absolutely incompetent and doesn't even know her own inventory because they had already sold one of the 3 remaining 4packs in the less than 2 days it took me to come get the half case they had set aside. And only 1 week later the other 2x 4packs were gone!!! Talk about not knowing what your customers want!!!! Amazing that a regular customer could know their inventory better than the management...
What a shame! I used to spend a LOT of money here! Guess they don't want my business. Or yours....
Do yourself a favor and avoid this store! ****End...
Read moreNormally I would have gave it this place a 4 or 5. But today the weekend of Juneteenth I came here to do some shopping. At first everything is going just fine as normal. But then I started looking for Earl Stevens wine selection. The blueberry to be exact. So there was this nice young man. Tall with blond hair and he started asking me what I was looking for and he and I started talkin and he was trying to help me out. So a black guy came and he asked him how do they get Earl Stevens. The guy's response was its trash. That bother me to my spirit because what he said to me pretty much as my taste and alcohol and or wine is trash based on my preference and what I was looking for. So I've been go get in line and I'm on the phone because now I'm upset. Older white lady is at the register with gray hair and I'm waiting on her to help me I have a basket full of stuff. She never pays any attention to me. A white man gets in line on the side of me and she asked him if she can help him. And he said she's before me and her response was so she's on the phone. I stepped up and I told her that doesn't matter I was still in line 1st and needed to be assisted. This is really rubbed me the wrong way I come from Union City over there so now I need to go back to either Camp Creek or find somewhere else because I don't like the way I was...
Read moreAfter a long week and shopping all day I thought let’s check this place out. Walked in the store is nice and clean and the cashier welcomed us. Walked towards the wine section and a large man in the back of the store was looking at us I assumed he knew my husband. My husband said I don’t know him. I browse on walking each aisle just browsing. I decide I want to try something new look up and the man is near me. Startled but not bother I ask a young lady to point me towards what I was looking for... yep the man is still following me. My husband is still where we started on his phone. Being new to Georgia I really couldn’t understand what the man was doing. I have on a sleeveless summer dress with no purse what was he following me for? I walk down a random aisle to get to the cashier to see if he follows he did.... okay I’m over it the cashier looks at him before she greets me I pay for 2 items for about 80.00 and walk out. We walked in with a group of strangers and he followed me. I was also the only person who purchased anything. I will...
