UPDATE: Increasing from 4 to 5 stars! Returned here after not going for several months and was pleasantly surprised by the menu changes. The restaurant definitely listened to the customers’ feedback and improved the menu. We got the trio appetizer again and they switched the chips - we much prefer the new thin & crispy corn chips. My husband got the tacos again and they were very good. They include a salsa on the side now to add spice/heat if you want. Still the homemade tortillas, which are very good. I got the chicken mole enchiladas. I asked for the mole on the side and got cheese smothered on top instead, that way I could use as much or little of the sauce as I wanted. It was delicious all around and portion sizes were very filling! Not a bite to spare. Overall, everything had more flavor and options to add “heat” if desired. Very grateful they listened! Went back a third time and got the Wet Burrito. 🌯 It was a beast in size! Delicious but had to take leftovers home. I love how they use fresh ingredients - the food isn’t greasy and doesn’t leave you feeling “unhealthy.” Service & atmosphere are always fantastic! We brought our small dogs to sit on the outdoor patio with us last two times & it was very pleasant & accommodating. Remember to check in at the front before heading to the patio with your pups though so they know you’re there! Love the craft margaritas. Very unique and complex flavors. Fun to try different ones! Reasonable prices all around & presentation on everything is superb!
If you’re looking for elevated, authentic food with fresh ingredients and relaxing, relevant and upbeat vibes - this is the closest place to feeling like you’re in Midtown or at Trilith in the Peachtree City area! The owner, Mac, is super nice, cares a lot about the customers’ experience and has exciting ideas to continue elevating the experience here. Can’t wait to see how this place continues to unfold! In the meantime, it’s awesome as it is and definitely worth checking out…Leaves you wanting to come back time and time again! I know we will…🙌🏼🤤🤩
——Original review—— Overall, my husband and I enjoyed eating here but the food lacked bold and interesting flavors. Terrific location, fun and pleasant atmosphere, nice in and outdoor seating areas. The service was excellent. Nice staff, quick to bring out food even when busy and affordable prices. Decent sized portions. A bit skimpy on the beans. I must say, my disappointment that kept me from giving 5 stars was the food unfortunately. The queso appetizer was fantastic, but that was the best part of the whole meal. The chips are more like fried pita chips. Tasty, but I haven’t decided if I like how thick they are yet. The salsas were very bland with no heat at all. For getting two options, I expected more variety in flavors. The tacos were good overall, but a bit bland. I ordered the grilled shrimp and grilled chicken and my husband ordered the Tinga. We got them “curious” style. The Tinga was the most seasoned and flavorful. Not enough flavor in the protein overall though, barely any pico and the rice and beans also lacked seasoning/flavor. None of the options had any heat or spice. I can only speak to the taco meals we tried. The table next to us got different entrees and those looked really good. They have an extensive cocktail menu, which is cool if you go there to enjoy drinks. But all in all, I can’t say the tacos enticed me to want to order those specific ones again. I really love the location and atmosphere, so we will be back to try other menu options. I do hope that the chef considers adding bolder flavors and authenticity to the shrimp & chicken taco cuisine though. His other restaurant, The Curious Pig, definitely has better tacos from our...
Read moreGo here if you aren't looking for authenticity. Before I go on my rant, the service was great and our server was wonderful! Heres the start of the rant. I went with my family to this location and it immediately gave off not authentic. The food was subpar and the prices reflected something upscale. We got waters for the table and the water they were serving had a taste like they were mixing in cucumbers. That must've not been tap water which I would've rather had. This water genuinely tasted like I was provided cucumber water which is fine but I want just water. We ordered queso dip in a bowl for the table. Keep in mind the bowl size is $12. The size of this bowl was smaller than a water bowl I'd give to a tiny poodle or chihuahua. $12 for that is just a money grab. For the tacos you get 2 tacos not including anything else. You can expect $14-$17 for those. 2 tacos....for $14. I'd rather go down the road to a more authentic place or go all the way to the city where I pay $4-5 per taco. You want subpar rice and beans in a very tiny portion? That's going to be $3 extra. So basically I'm paying almost $20 for a meal worth $10. Absolutely unfair and just a money grab. My mom had the mahi mahi tacos and I love fish tacos. Keep in mind what I was given vs what shows in recent photos are not the same. Ours wasn't sliced but rather just a part of a filet that was overcooked. I will admit that this tacos was sitting in sauce "juice" for a few minutes so the corn tortilla soaked in the water but upon eating that, it was the most flavorless fish taco. The mahi mahi was salty and unseasoned. The toppings and sauce was also flavorless and the overall taco was extremely disgusting. I took it apart to at least eat the fish and I was struggling. I was gagging on it. Fortunately had the okay consomme to help swallow it. I am not coming back and I wouldn't recommend this spot. I showed this to my close friend who is Mexican and just by the pictures itself knew this place was not authentic and trying to be. I'm...
Read moreService was impeccable. Amanda was a phenomenal, personable server (with a great name!!.) The food here is top notch. We had the tableside guac and the queso fundido. So fresh. So yummy. Amanda suggested and described several of the items on what she called the “chef curated new menu”. We went with her suggestions and WOW! Flavor bombs! We had the lobster tostada to share as a small plate second starter. As a party of six we each tried something different and shared. The chorizo gravy pork chop and the salmon bowl were total standouts as were literally all the street tacos and elote. Now onto the bar. Wow. Best margaritas I have ever had in Ga hands down. Those bartenders know how to make a drink! The manager Morgan checked on us a few times as well and we just felt so welcomed, taken care of, and well fed (with phenomenal drinks). Amanda convinced us to try the new homemade donuts and we were so glad she did. Damn. Those things were incredible. Warm blackberries and she said homemade whipped cream… I will dream about those . This was out first time here and we had friends from out of the country with us a d we were all beyond impressed. This will become a mainstay for us esp when we want to impress company with what is available locally! What a gem in PTC! Ask for Amanda when you go, she made it amazing! Drink a lot, tip well, and...
