True REST Float Spa 1293 North Peachtree Parkway Peachtree City, Georgia 30269
I truly wanted to love this place, especially after my first visit ā which was amazing. I even left them an excellent review at that time. Unfortunately, everything after that has been a train wreck.
My second visit was a disaster. There was a new, clearly undertrained employee who didnāt know how to start the required orientation video. During my float, the lights (which should have been off) were blindingly bright, and there was no relaxing music. I had asked to purchase shower slippers but was never brought them.
Something else I noticed was a drastic difference in the float itself. On my very first visit, I could feel the salt on my skin ā it left a visible residue afterward, and I floated effortlessly. But on a later visit, I didnāt float the same way, didnāt feel the salt on my skin at all, and didnāt get the deep therapeutic effect I had come for. When I asked the attendant, she told me they constantly have to add water and that the salt ratio might not always be consistent. That was extremely disappointing ā especially when you're paying for a float experience that should be reliable every time.
At one point, I canceled and rescheduled an appointment, only to wake up the next morning with a surprise $25 charge on my account. The district manager did call and issue a credit, which I appreciated.
But the problems didnāt stop there. On my next scheduled float, I drove over an hour from Barnesville, only to be told their computer system was down ā and because it controls the floats, they couldnāt honor any appointments. That was incredibly frustrating.
Another major issue is their lack of accessible customer service. No one ever answers the phone. Youāre automatically sent a text message and expected to handle all communication that way, even cancellations. Despite canceling my membership through text, I woke up this morning to find Iād been charged for another month.
I understand that things happen beyond our control, but this has become a pattern. Poor training, communication issues, technical failures, inconsistent float conditions, and inadequate customer support.
At this point, I cannot recommend True REST Float Spa in Peachtree City. I give them a 1-star rating. They have a lot of work to do if they want to be a company people can trust to deliver a consistent,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchased a buy one get one certificate for mothers day for me and my wife and have had nothing but disappointment from this place. We were 5-10 minutes away from the location when we got a notification that our appointment was cancelled. Pulled into the parking lot and sure enough, they were closed and locked up tight. VERY DISAPPOINTING. They require you to cancel 24 hours in advance and they should hold themselves to that standard. This is what is called a double standard. No business should ever send a notification of cancellation 5-10 minutes before the appointment time. To make matters worse, my wife and I had left work early to be there on time. On top of this, I have tried time and time again to get in contact with somebody and it is near impossible to get in contact with anybody. VERY DISAPPOINTING. At this point I just want my money back, but I doubt I will be able to. I have only been able to get somebody on the phone twice in a 3 week time span... Outrageous! Then I randomly get an email from Frankie the "Regional Manager" that he will rectify the issue and would like to speak with me. I even gave him the best days and times to contact me (as he requested) and he never did. I replied to his email and told him that he can keep my money in return for a 1 star review, thus this review being written and posted. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY LIKE I HAVE!
EDIT: I am leaving the initial review untouched so people can see what happened to me, but I am changing this review from 1 star to 2 solely because they finally refunded me. I appreciate the kind words from Frankie and HER helpfulness (I did not know that she was a girl in my initial review), but I hate that it had to come to me writing this review in the first place to get a well deserved refund. Frankie let me know that the current staff was not running the facility properly and let me know that they are changing staff around to try and improve the customer experience and to make sure this never happens again. Take this review and her word for what it is and make your own judgement call. As for me, it is hard for me to recommend this place after what happened to me. Best wishes to True Rest and its future...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTrue Rest Float Spa (Peachtree City location) This was my first time trying flotation therapy, and it was a wonderful experience. My appointment was in the morningāoutside of my natural chronotypeāso I arrived exhausted. From the moment I walked in until the moment I left, Lee (the co-owner) was absolutely fantastic. He gave me a tour, explained the process thoroughly, and made me feel comfortable before I stepped into the experience.
I expected to feel deeply calm, relaxed, and maybe even fall asleep since I was already tiredābut sleep was not part of the equation. Once I let go of that expectation and allowed the therapy to be what my body needed, I truly enjoyed it. At times, when I felt a little restless, I danced lightly in the water or moved into gentle yoga poses and leaned into joy. Before I knew it, the session was over. While many people describe leaving in a zen-like state, I came out feeling clear, focused, and rejuvenatedāready to take on the day.
⨠For anyone with locs: I have locs, and the therapy worked out great for my hair. I soaked it in the shower beforehand, then brought my own products to shampoo and rehydrate afterward.
After my float, I was greeted with delicious hot tea and the option of herbal-infused oxygen. I chose rosemary for the oxygen infusion, and it was amazing.
Some helpful things to know: Date Night/Couplesā Night is 8ā10pm on weekends for a good deal. They accept HSA/FSA. New additions are coming soon (cold plunge, sauna-like areas, etc.).
Note: This location is under new leadership as of August 2025, and they are doing a fantastic job.
What Iād do differently next time: Use a deep-penetrating balm for after the float (Aveeno lotion wasnāt enough for me hours later). Play soft instrumental music for the first 10ā15 minutes to help ease into the session. It was fine without it, but for me, I would have preferred it.
Iāll definitely be backāthe whole vibe blends rejuvenation and relaxation wrapped in a blanket of deep...
