I waited a couple days to write this review to cool off. I purchased a toy for my daughter at another target. The price tag said $14.99, the app said $14.99 I store and online, but it rang up for $26.99. I took it to my local target (instead of driving the 45 there and 45 minutes back to the other target) to show them and have the $12 put back on my card. The âmanagerâ MARY (who left the service desk and said âIâll be right with youâ and didnât come back for a few minutes while a line backed up behind me) told me that bc it wasnât them that messed it up and it wasnât them that got the money I would have to go to the other target! I said âno thatâs not the case bc if I buy something at any target I can return it to any targetâ and she said that was completely different. I told her it was the same bc the other target got my money and they are giving it back for the item. Same scenario. She said I would still have to go to the other store to have the price fixed đł At this point someone in the line says âcome on just take it back to the other target youâre holding up the lineâ and I told MARY that she was turning the line against me and she said âno youâre turning the line against youâ đŻ . Anyway, she refused to adjust the price even though it is still (and has always been) $14.99 in store. She said I have to let them know if I want to price match. I HAVE TO LET YOU KNOW TO PRICE MATCH SOMETHING THAT IS THE ACTUAL PRICE???? Itâs not like it was at the wrongheaded place on the shelf or that it had went on sale. It was $14.99 period. You could tell she just wanted to have a bad attitude bc she was too busy to even listen to what had happened. She said she would put it on a gift card (which shouldnât of been done it shouldâve went back to my debit card) just to âmake me happyâ. Ummm no you refund the amount that was STOLEN from me by target bc thatâs the right thing to do. I saw her later in the store and asked her her name and she said âMary can I help you with somethingâ with a very ratchet attitude. This lady needs to see if unemployment is hiring bc target is not the...
Read moreDisappointed. Things happen, holiday season is hectic, I get that. I ordered $75 worth of diapers (2 larger boxes, one small box) to receive a $15 promotional card. Being a mom of 2 in diapers has me going after any deals I can. This promotion was for pick up only, so I ordered for pick up and was told it would be ready within 2 hours. It was ready in closer to 2.5 hours but again, no biggie. I received the notification that it was ready but the smaller pack of diapers was out of stock, thus making my order under $75 and no longer receiving the $15 promotional card. Since my order took longer than anticipated I was in the store & decided to check. I saw the âout of stockâ diapers I had ordered on the shelf and grabbed them. I then went to pick up my order at guest services & asked them if they could fix this matter since the diapers were indeed in stock therefore making my order back to $75 and getting the $15 promotional card. They told me no. Okay. I asked if I could then cancel the order, and re do it since the diapers were all in stock. Again, no. I then asked why, since we had the 3 packs of diapers I originally ordered in front of us. She said I could cancel the order, re order it for pick up, but it would take 2+ hours (she told me to expect more) to be ready, even though I had already ordered the items, they are the ones who claimed an item was out of stock even though itâs sitting right in front of them that I found on shelf with ease. Again, no. And not even giving me a reasonable option, an apology or anything just didnât sit right. I love Target, I typically have a good experience, and Iâm sure retail work during the holiday season is rough but Iâm disappointed in this very simple matter not being handled at all. I know itâs just $15 but again, itâs for diapers and that $15 wouldâve been spent right back at target for more diapers. We live an hour away from Target and go when we can but this experience didnât sit well with me. Thatâs all. 3 stars since itâs a clean establishment, parking was fine, etc. Just disappointed with...
Read moreThis shopping experience and complaint was submitted to corporate and they chose not to respond or return my emails/messages/request for return call/bbb complaint. I was hoping to work things out without taking this route but unfortunately, they are ok with Alexa still working and hurting people: I was in Alexaâs checkout lane today at target. I had a mastectomy/reconstruction surgery 2 days ago so I am unable to life anything but I needed some items so my husband took me out for the first time since surgery. He placed our basket on the checkout belt and went 2 aisles over to grab a drink. The lady in front of us finished her transaction and Alexa looked at me and told me I have to empty the basket to be checked out. I said I just had a mastectomy surgery and canât lift anything but my husband will be right back. She rolled her eyes and looked at the lady that just checked out and they chuckled and started at me. I wanted to cry my eyes out. After saying that and then laughing, Alexa said sheâll just wait for my husband to empty the basket instead of helping me. Iâve never heard of casheir not being allowed to empty a basket for a customer, especially after they say they canât do it for a medical reason. She continued to belittle me through our whole interaction, as if Iâve never used a card machine or cell phone (to scan my barcode). This experience being my first one out since surgery was terrible and cause severe emotional distress, anxiety, and Humiliation. We were hestitant to complain wondering if Alexa is trying to get fired to get on unemployment. I will NEVER shop at target again and will share this story with everyone, hoping to make it viral to show what kind of people work there. I understand itâs hard to find people that work, but one person can ruin the whole companies reputation and people will remember a story such as this anytime their picking where to shop. Nobody should be judged, belittled or humiliated for having a surgery and needing my husbands help to lift items. You should be ashamed to have this woman...
