My partner and I came in today March 4th around 4 pm to make an amazon return. There was a large line and only one employee but she was very kind to everyone. That was until my partner and I came up to the counter, she looked us both up and down and didnât say a word. Just scanned our bar code and made a nasty face the whole time. Once we walked away she went back to cheery conversation with everyone behind us. For reference, we had our return fully prepared, boxed up with the barcode ready to make her job in the midst of that line a small bit simpler. My partner and I are both women and my girlfriend has her hair cut short and we were in active clothing to go to the gym after our errands. I fully felt that we were discriminated against and judged for our outward appearance. Not once were we affectionate or showed an ounce of pda because we have been harassed in public before. Everything about how our interaction went and after observing everyone around us, we felt very uncomfortable. Personal views aside, you should not be in a customer service position if you canât approach everyone with the same level of respect and put your judgements aside. I hope that she can learn to treat the people around her with more kindness and become more understanding that people can be different from her. As for Kohls, maybe assess whether your employees are fit to be a public representation of your brand because as of now, I donât feel I will ever put ourselves in that position by being in your...
Read moreI haven't been to Kohl's in at least 2 years for various reasons that have nothing to do with Kohl's. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The store was cleaner than I remembered and I fell in love with everything I saw. The markdowns were as good as I remembered and I found everything I was looking for and a bit more. I finished up my Christmas shopping and saved an additional 25% on my purchase! How? Well, my husband took a package from Amazon there this morning for a return and they gave him a coupon on his shipping confirmation receipt. Brilliantâ. We used their Amazon returns drop off and they gave us a coupon. It worked! It got me in the store. I spent $125.00. I received approximately $30.00 in Kohl's cash and another 25% off coupon. Guess where I will be again tomorrow? Kohl's. Because I can use the Kohl's cash beginning tomorrow and the coupon and I still could use more towels. Brilliant marketing! Great service for the community with the Amazon drop off, which my husband said was seamless and took all of 2 seconds. And, I was met with great Customer Service!...
Read moreI purchased multiple sweaters from Kohlâs about a month and a half ago. On the day I was there, they had only one checkout person, and basically forced you in to self checkout. No problem, did the self checkout, went home with my items. Well, itâs too hot to wear them until today. Pulled one sweater out and it had the magnetic security device. Ok. No problem. Go back to the store. Explain my issue, checkout lady was extremely rude. âWhy donât you have your receipt?â âWell weâll do it this one time, but next make sure you take off the device.â, I said, I donât work here. I did not know about the device. To which she says âEVERYONE knows how to remove a deviceâ. Anyway, she starts trying to flip it around like I am some kind of a problem customer. Anyway, done shopping at Kohlâs. To all of these stores that want to make everything self check outâŚâŚ thatâs fineâŚ. However, mistakes will be made⌠do not have the audacity to chastise your customers for buying products from you. Goodbye Kohlâs, you are not...
