Be very careful if you are female, it doesn't matter if you are certified and know exactly what you are doing, this location will try to make you spend thousands instead of $35. It's happened more than once to me. FYI woman can do plumbing and electrical work and if we ask where something is we don't need your up selling! Today is the second time I have ordered something online and gotten the wrong item, the first time was within the last month I ordered a leaf blower and they loaded a weed wacker in my trunk, it is 20 minutes each way to get to the closest home Depot. I called ahead and let them know I got the wrong item and they said they notated my account and I could just come in and get what I ordered with no issues. I got there and it was an issue lots of issues, they wanted to return the weed wacker without a receipt and I said uhhh no you can't return something I did not purchase or I would be refunded for something I did not purchase, they said oh we see the note it just says you got the wrong item and not what to do. I have been in retail for over 18 years and I had to walk them through it, the woman was mad and reluctant to go to the floor and get what I ordered, she then shoved it at me and I said what do you need from me, she said nothing you can go. Today I ordered a 3/4 shark bite Valve, idk if it was substituted but I did not receive that. When I drove 20 minutes back to the store again which is a 40 minutes round trip, I went to the location and we had to wait 20 minutes asking multiple times for someone to help, the employee gave me grief arguing with me for over 30 minutes, then I finally brought what I ordered back to the front. The woman SHARON returned my item AND I NOTICED the replacement the employee gave me was bent and damaged I said I can't take this it's damaged and showed her, she didn't care and returned my item that was wrong and I had to ask the person who was with me to go trade it for a non damaged item because I have a physical disability. (Originally when I asked for what I ordered the employee refused and told me I needed to replace my entire system and after almost 30 minutes of me trying not to be mean he gave me what I asked for originally.) When the return cashier heard I had a damaged item from the floor she didn't care, and when I asked for someone with me to go get a new one she told me to move to the side so she could help someone else. After she told him to go somewhere else because her computer wouldn't work I waited about 15 minutes and the person with me came back with the new item with no help from anyone. I said I need to purchase the correct item she ignored me, I walked to customer service and they said we are both busy can't help you, then the original worker said I can help you here, I go back over there and then she said my computer is crashed I just restarted it will be a while. I looked at the pin pad MY PERSONAL information was on the pad still over 20 minutes later. I said so it has been crashed since my return and you helped others with my personal info on this pin pad, she said aggressive and loud no it's not I said look!!! She said oh well I can't help, go back over there. I went over there and they said nope I'm busy can't help, go to the other end of the store. I said really because not getting the correct item then not being helped to get the correct item wasn't enough on top of the time wasted back and forth you want me to go all the way down there, they said yeah. I said fine don't worry I will be giving a review on you and when I was half way they yelled wait come back! I told the cashier at the other end and she said oh sorry how are you paying. This is horrific and disgusting with everything I have spent here. Just wanting what I asked for and needed!
By the way it was the right part and no upgradd water...
Read moreI placed my order online for curbside pickup around 10am. It took about an hour and a half to get the ready for pickup email. I waited until later in the day to pick it up as I had to wait for my little ones to be out of school. This is an 1 hour 20 minute drive to the store from our house. So we load up around 4pm and head to the store. I go in the app select that we are there and my vehicle color etc. We waited about 30 minutes in the curbside pickup and my 2 y.o. And 4 y.o were over it and started screaming. We got out of the car and just walked around in the grass in the curbside space. After about another 5-10 minutes. I decided to load all three kids up and go inside. I get in the door out the two smallest in the cart and ask the lady, “Which door is curbside suppose to come out of?” She looked at me like I had 10 eyes and said, “What do you mean?” I replied “I have an order for curbside pickup and it’s taking forever. Which door do they come out of so I can get my order?” Another lady walks up and said, “Did you order a shower or something?” “No” “What did you have?” “Lumber and a bunch of random stuff like screws, hinges….” ANOTHER lady walks up with a handheld and the girls asked her, “Curbside?” She said, “Oh did you have a shower?” “NO I DID NOT HAVE A SHOWER. I checked in to curbside like 45 minutes ago and nobody came out. Which side does curbside come out of so I can get my order?!” Then she asked my name and told me I have to pull up to the pro loading space. Get the kids buckled back in and pull up to the loading zone. I get out and go to walk in the door and 2 guys are wheeling the cart out. At this point I was so over it and hated that I ordered from there instead of Lowe’s. I took the cart and said thanks I’ll load it. He proceeded to go to grab stuff and I told him absolutely not! I would get it. Mind you…my order was ready around 11:30am. Here it is 6pm, I checked in, nobody cared to load it…Never again....
Read moreAs a contractor I highly suggest avoiding this place to purchase your tools. We use strictly Milwaukee for our crews and have purchased over 40 tools from this store. The people who normally work in the tool section are nice and knowledgeable so I choose to go there instead of ordering online from a place like Amazon. Recently an impact tool in one of their promotional kits I purchased quit working due to faulty one-key software after having it for only 3 weeks. I attempted to return the drill and was told I could exchange it but only with the whole kit because it was purchased that way. I spent the next day rounding up the other tools from a couple different crews. After returning a second time with the whole kit the manager fumbled around for awhile and told me I couldn't exchange the kit because they no longer had that exact kit, they'd just sold the last 2 that day. I asked if we could exchange the drill for another drill that was the same exact model in another kit and was told no, the serials didn't match up, so if he did that Milwaukee might not take the tool back and he'd be out $450. So my options were to take a cash refund of $500 to turn around and buy the tools individually for $1000 or send the drill to Milwaukee and wait 2 weeks for them to repair it. The irony of the whole thing is that as a contractor I've probably already lost over $450 dealing with this drill and then have him standing there telling me his box store may have to absorb $450 if they exchanged a faulty tool they sold me. If you make your money with tools and rely on their uptime to do so, purchase them elsewhere from someone who will actually honor their warranty. When you need this store to come through in a...
