UPDATE 9/27/24 after all the years I & my family have been eating here, we just had the worst burgers ever. They taste like the lid to the salt shaker was missing & salt was just dumped on them. I SHOULD HAVE returned them to the counter as all you taste was the salt. (Probably more than 2days or more recommended daily allowance) My husband who loves salt & always needs to add salt didn't & even said his was extra salty, he'd eat it but it was definitely over salted. I did my best to eat mine thinking maybe just that 1 part of the burger but no, the entire sandwich no matter where I took a bite. I threw out over half if it. He ate his & said even his fries were saltier than usual, I didn't have any. (We had the double cheeseburger plain, no condiments), med soda & we each had our pumpkin spice concrete mixer for desert. The best part of my meal by far 😋. With my bogo coupon for the sandwich our bill was a few cents under $30. (I didn't feel bad throwing out a burger that was basically free) On the way out, my husband spoke with the young man who'd taken our order about the heavy handed salt that's never been like that before & the fella told him next time order no seasonings or lite salt so you don't have that problem. There WONT BE a "next time", at least for me. Hubby is the big burger fan, but, Culver's is/was the only place I'd enjoy a burger as I'm normally not a burger fan. My question is "why did we have this salt issue to start with? The quality & flavor has always been good & seasoning perfect?" IF THIS is a new prep policy, it is not palatable. TODAYS VISIT rates a lone 1☆ for the burger. Cleanliness & friendliness also 5☆ AND the Pumpkin Spice concrete mixer =5☆
Good food, priced reasonable tho a tad high for a basic "burger n fries(poured from a bag) basket, in my personal opinion. (I worked in food service for over 30yrs & was a certified kitchen manager for 15yrs, so I AM aware that costs have consistently "gone up") L-O-V-E their custard!! Forget the meal, give me my custard, cup or concrete mixer or sundae & I'm a happy camper. Can't wait for them to bring back their Pumpkin Spice* flavor for my fall mixers, just wish it was available for much longer than it has previously been served. (throw the scales out or dont look, this fall favorite is a staple for me & if you like pumpkin, I'm sure...
Read moreWe were so excited to go out to eat tonight for the first time in months. Michael wanted Culver's so we went to the one off 150 by Home Depot. HUGE mistake. Brandon brought our food out to us and I asked him if someone would be out to wipe off the table on the patio. He said someone should. When Brandon brought out the straws he forgot to give us, I again asked if someone was coming out to wipe down the table. He said he would ask. After waiting, I entered the front door or the restaurant telling him that since they were busy just give me the sanitizer and I will wipe down our table. He rudely informed me that we weren't supposed to be dining on the patio. I explained that the Governor allowed outside dining starting yesterday. No, he said, it is up to each restaurant and his location has chose not to allow outdoor dining. The patio was clearly blocked off for social distancing and it was full of people. He then refused to either get me something so I could wipe down the table or send someone out to do it. Luckily, he included three napkins so we could use them as placements. After we ate our dinner, I stopped by to talk to the woman running the mobile drive through. I asked if dining was open on the patio since it appears the tables were marked for social distancing and the patio was full when we arrived. She said yes, it was. I asked if someone was supposed to come out to wipe down tables and again she said yes. I relayed what had happened with Brandon and she said it was his second day back at work and she would go talk to him. This should have been a nice picnic out on a beautiful day and our first dining out experience but young Brandon ruined it by refusing to provide a safe environment for us to dine in. Moral of the story:. Travel with Lysol wipes from now on and avoid places that don't care about their...
Read moreWill never eat at this location again!!! We were there on Saturday February 11, 23 for lunch. I had been to other Culver's location but not this one. It was my husband's first time at any Culver's. I ordered a single cheese butterburger with lettuce onion and mayo and onion rings. I received a double cheese butterburger with lettuce, onion, pickle and mayo. I didn't complain I just made due. Then we were in Peoria again last night on February 14, 23 to finish up our errands from the previous Saturday. Despite the mess up on Saturday we decided to give them another try, since my husband liked their food. We arrived at 6:00 pm for supper. At 6:30 we still had not received our food. As I was looking around I noticed people that had come in after us were receiving their food. My husband went up and asked about our order. He was told that there had been a mess up and some orders had printed out and some hadn't but they were working to fix the problem. We waited another 20 minutes and finally stopped one of the employees that were delivering food to the table and asked about our order. He tried to explain everything again. My husband stopped him and said we understand you are busy and there was a problem with the printer but people that came in after us are still getting their food and we have somewhere we need to be. He went back and told someone. In the mean time another employee delivering food to a table walked past ours and under his breath said. If you saw we were busy you should have gone somewhere else. 🤬 The first employee came back and said they are working on your order now. We waited an hour for our meal while dealing with rude employees and no apologies. Worst...
