Smoothie King — Restaurant in Peoria

I’m waiting in line, now for already 10 minutes, when a man walks up to the walk up counter and orders his smoothie. He was told he was going to have to wait due to the drive thru line, which has 5 cars ahead of me and one behind me. He made a stink about it saying his wife is pregnant. She was sitting in the car either way. He received his order within 5 minutes while I sat there another 20 waiting to even place my order. I understand the cc reader was down causing the issue for the wait, but it’s not okay that the guy got to skip the line because his wife is “pregnant” which can’t even be verified since she was SITTING IN THE CAR anyways. A smoothie is a want, not a need, even if you’re pregnant. The special treatment was not fair. I told the kid at the window and just asked that I receive a coupon for a free smoothie on my next visit. He said they don’t have coupons, that he would give my information to the manager. I doubt I hear back from the manager. Businesses need to treat people fairly and in the order of arrival. How do you know I’m not pregnant? Maybe I should just say that to get special...

Please just go to a different smoothie king. I’m not Karen I swear I’m 18 and I just really like smoothie king. I’ve never had a bad experience with smoothie king but every time I went to this one it’s been awful. The girl working was so rude like sweetie I get it you hate working but I work in fast food and I’ve never talked to a customers the way you talked to me. Also the smoothies tasted like soap. One of my shakes was more like flavored milk then a smoothie. She also told be that I can’t substitute oat milk in for a dairy ingredient. Like why even have oat milk and every other smoothie king let’s me do that. I think she just didn’t wanna work but like I don’t wanna be gassy all day cuz I’m lactose intolerant. So first thing is that it's very expensive. With that said, they have a loyalty rewards program. The first time I went there I spent about $13. The smoothie wasn't that great and the girl didn't really help much in ordering. My friend is an avid goer and told me to try it again. On my next visit about a few days later the next employee was more helpful. My friend eventually told me about the rewards points and how to get them cheaper. And if you go on Friday the 32oz drink is just $5. On Samsung android devices if you use Samsung pay you get some cash back on Groupon. Groupon has 25% off on smoothie king. So if you combine those rewards you'll save even more. Their customer service is top notch. I had a billing issue and they took care of...
