Kohls seems to kick all the major stores butts lately, in my opinion. The only exception would be Dillards when they have those mega sales. A 180 dress shirt for 20. . .fine, you got me lol.
So this visit involved me going to JC Penny, and finding nothing. The Macy's, and nothing. The people at those places were fine, but I need an "athletic" fit dress shirt or I am all poofey and goofy looking. Not a thing on their stores.
So in here, I bothered the first person who I saw when I was lost. About 40 seconds in lol. Chelsea (I think. . . Only red head there) was awesome. She treated me how I wanted to be treated. We must have gone through at least six shirts (fully wrapped and pinned to trying on) before we found the right size and fit for me. The service was so solid, I even looked at ties and bought a couple. Usually I'd get those online, but between the service and the extra discounts she told me about, I was happy to give my business to Kohls and in store.
So yea, I'll still cruise through Dillards for a deal, but my shopping is basically locked into Kohls (for the things I can get...
Read moreStopped in today to buy a rug. Went to the register, the cashier was checking out the man in front of me and offered him a 35% discount if he used his Kohls card. When I was checking out. I asked if there were any discounts if I used my Kohls card and she said no. So I questioned how she offered the man in front of me the 35% off and not me. Her response was “there isn’t any discounts but you can put your number in for your rewards!” I quickly replied “that’s some discrimination there!” I paid for my rug and walked out more so that I could have her ushered to report to the manager and when I call corporate! Spoke to Tyler, manager, he was apologetic, said he’d talk to his employees, but never asked who it was! I quickly let him know his cashier is very selective with her discount offers and thats discrimination! I’m still calling corporate so it can be reported higher up as no one should be discriminatory anywhere, anytime! I also closed my Kohls card, if they’re going to serve that kind of customer service, I’ll take my...
Read moreUnacceptably rude customer service... Told me that he "didn't have time to help with all parts of my transaction because there were people in line behind me"! There were 2 lines open at customer service and 5 people in total behind me. I needed to exchange some pants from Christmas but of course they can't do it online from in the store so he told me I'd have to return, reorder, and come back in which was a HUGE pain but fine.. Then when I came back and all of this happened, he wouldn't return the pants that I reordered by his request for the full price that I paid because I used Kohls cash for some of the HUGE order I placed. I asked him how I could get my full amount back and he said he couldn't because he didn't have time to mess with the transaction any further than a quick return! I called Kohls customer service number and they had the rest of the money returned to my account within 10 minutes.. Overall summary, a lot of running around and stupid extra steps because of rude and...
