Prices are higher than I'd like in the bakery section, no pecan pie was a disappointment, and i think they have the wrong set of doors open during last hour or two before they close. I understand having only one set of doors to enter and exit the store late at night when there is less staff to monitor the doors. The doors left open should be the ones near the Ross store. Ross remains open late at night as well and shoppers may very well shop at both stores during those later hours, as i did. It would be much more convenient and safer i think to walk the shorter distance from Ross's door to Raley's door than have to go all the way down to thr other end of Raley's large store. Especially for a woman alone with her kid(s), a purse, and shopping bags. As it is now if you park near the only unlocked entrance/exit of Raley"s late at night and then need to go to Ross's afterward you have to walk across a dark parking lot and then back across that same lot, darker and more deserted than before to get back to your vehicle. That's a very uneasy and tiresome task at the end of a long day. Petaluma is an awesome town and I've lived here 45+ years. Read moreIt's almost like This raley's is totally different from every other raley's in the chain. Things are extremely difficult to find here, nothing is organized together. Whenever you're ready to check out there is no one available. People often have to get someone to come out of the aisles to simply check you out when you are ready to go. Shelves are not restocked for days at a time, meaning even if you come back to get the same item it still sold out. Customer service is lackluster at this location, in stark contrast from every other raley's in the chain. Employees seem to not care what the customer thinks and seems to be more interested in shutting the customer up for the moment rather than changing for the better. This raley's focuses intensely on the compliments they get which makes them think they don't have to listen or value any of the negative feedback or complaints they receive.
