Crumbl — Restaurant in Petaluma

As a former baker I had been itching to try these out since they opened since I've heard a lot of great things about them. The people in the store were really friendly and the store is well thought out and looked cute. The service was fast and even though they for my name on there wrong they still went through the escort of figuring out where my order was pretty quickly. The cookies, however, are gimmicky and expensive but they do make them there which is a plus since a lot of places like this get stuff ready made and frozen. They change the flavors they sell periodically so each time you come it might be something different. There was one I was hoping to try that looked like pink champagne but it was not in this time around. I got two chocolate chunk, one twix looking one and one peanut butter cup cookie. The plain chocolate chunk cookies were good but not any better than the cheaper ones they sell at Safeway. The others were also good but the base for each was either chocolate chip or sugar cookie only with toppings on top. Overall they looked good and they were enjoyed. They were far from amazing but for fancy cookies, if you're unwilling to make them yourself, this was good. Overall I'd still rather this fairly high, great service...

Went into this place for the first time the other day and had quite a lovely experience. The cookies are phenomenal, that's why you go there. You expect that... It's $5 for a cookie. But it's worth it, the reason I'm going out of my way to leave a review though is because of Lauren. She's an absolute cutie, with energy that matches! She was so positive and upbeat, engaging and friendly, my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time just talking with her. She helped us pick our cookies with her hands-on experience. She has definitely tried each of their options and had such a colorful description for every one. I'll probably go back to get another cookie one day, I'll definitely go back to the Petaluma location because I know they have great cookies and...
