Auntie Anne's Pretzels — Local services in Philadelphia

DO NOT PLACE ORDER FOR DELIVERY ON AUNTIE ANNE’S WEBSITE! They use a 3rd party delivery company and they do not inform you prior to placing your order. I ordered from the Fashion District location in Philadelphia for a delivery 24 hours prior to an event I was having. I ordered over $200 worth of pretzels for them to be delivered by 2pm. At 2:10pm we called Auntie Anne’s and was informed that a dasher had just left with the order. Please keep in mind that I did not order through Door Dash/Uber Eats/GrubHub so all I had was a link from Auntie Anne’s which only allowed me to track the delivery. I was not provided with the number of the “dasher”. At 2:30 we called Auntie Anne’s again and the person who I spoke to identified themselves as the manager. She stated that she had no details about the dasher and all she could tell me was that my ordered was picked up at 2:10. My office is 7 minutes away from the Fashion District location. At 2:30 the tracker said my order was delivered…if it was in fact delivered it was sent to the wrong place! I asked the “manager” if we can pay for a new order and we will address this issue after my event. She said it would take 2 hours because they are busy. I asked to get a contact for someone above her and she stated there is no on above her…so you mean to tell me this manager has no supervisor above her or anything? Ridiculous! I contacted customer service and I was told all they can do is place a complaint. This is not the way a franchise as big as Auntie Anne’s should be operated. I will be escalating...

This location is unique in my opinion. And I like it!

When I first looked at the building. I didn't know it was Auntie Anne’s location. I almost passed on going in until I saw someone walk out with a bag of their pretzels. So, with that being said—

It looks like they are closed (even on the days they are open — weekends only — please check Auntie Anne’s for correct hours or any updates).

When you walk inside you will see no pretzels on display. Which, is fine. This is where the patience comes into play because the pretzels are made to order!!!

I've been a few times since my first visit and it took them only 7-10 minutes to hand me my hot and fresh pretzel!!! I've enjoyed them every single time. No complaints! I prefer it that way instead of having the pretzels sit out over a heated light to stay warm all day.

The consistency of the pretzel taste is there. However, my only issue is that I believe the pretzels are thinner (still doughy but not as thick) compared to other locations like the mall or airport.

Other than that. The staff is very kind! and also ready to take your once you approach the counter.

I will visit them every time I'm in the area and craving an Auntie...

Walked in on 10/3/21 around 12pm to place an order and their wasn’t an employee in sight, nor did they have anything on display. I waited around for a few minutes and no one every came out to check for customers but yet I could hear talking in the back. At that point I walk out since they decided to leave the front unattended. Horrible...
