Really great lunch prices but the rolls were poorly made, I was unable to pick the pieces up with chop sticks because they would immediately fall apart. I had 2 rolls with salmon in it and it tasted "fishy" with almost no flavor which leads me to think they are using lower quality fish. The avocado was very ripe, over ripe, and brown in some spots. The California roll was okay. I also ordered a side of spicy mayo which was very sweet with a small after taste of spicy. If you are okay with mid grade quality sushi, the prices are not bad at all. When looking through my ginger salad (undressed) I noticed it was literally dripping water and there was brown stuff on the lettuce. The next piece I picked up had a hair on it.

worst experience i have ever had. just drove 16 hours from florida and they had great reviews. the server was very rude from the start was not friendly. we ordered our food and we didn’t like it and she kept insisting that all the other customers liked it and that it was fresh. she didn’t offer to remake our food or help at all really. she called her manager on the phone and he argued with us saying we must pay for food we did not eat. she then got our debit cards confused and ended up charging me 2 different prices which she said she refunded one but never did. i would not recommend this place at all. below are photos before & after. i ate almost nothing!

LOVE THIS PLACE. I just was reading some of the poor reviews, and they are way too harsh and too critical. As a repeat customer, I have never had a bad experience here, the sushi is great quality, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I order the lunch special at least once a month here. It is always on time with the order time. Never late. And the price is completely reasonable. I will continue to order sushi from this place. I usually get spicy salmon and tuna, and shrimp tempura. These rolls turn out great. I hope this clears the air on some of the bad reviews. I really love this place.

Around 7:45pm. 6/2/2024

My girlfriend ordered Chicken Hibachi Friend Rice, and I ordered Shrimp and Chicken Udon Soup. We had Seafood Gyoza, and Pork Gyoza for appetizers and Mango Bubble Tea for our drinks. The drinks came first, and it tasted like water mixed with power. I didn’t taste tea. It was also bland, like watered down mango juice. Both Gyozas were actually good. Even though I think it’s frozen gyoza, not house made, it was cooked well —Soft with a crispy bottom. We then witnessed the waitress sneezed into her hand in front of the customers and didn’t sanitize her hands. Unfortunately, when both our meals came, there was a repeated pattern of being bland (not enough salt and umami taste) even though it smelled good. I’m sad to say that the food and service did not match the beautiful ambience and decor of the restaurant.

Notes to Waitress: Please refrain from sneezes in front of customers, and sneeze into the nook of your elbow. Please use Hand sanitizer or wash your hands to perform hand hygiene after sneezing, even if you don’t feel any particulates coming out. Additionally, please check in with your customers to make sure all is okay. I understand it is a lot of work being a waitress. However, you are the connection between the kitchen and the floor. Checking in with your customers helps you facilitate that experience.

Note to the Chef: The gyoza was yummy. The hibachi fried rice smelled wonderful, but once we tasted it, it was disappointingly bland. Please add more fish sauce, salt, and soy sauce, or spin it how you will. Same with the Udon; it was too bland even for Udon, and slightly too much ground pepper. I could not taste any notes of kombu (seaweed kelp) or anything adjacent in the base. I think scallion garnish will help a lot to brighten the taste after making sure the soup is...

After making a reservation, we arrived for dinner. We were seated after a few minutes and then ordered relatively quickly. One person out of the three of us ordered a kitchen dish and the other two of us ordered sushi. We also got two bubble teas and a few appetizers. The appetizers arrived fairly quickly and were fine. The taro and Thai bubble teas also arrived quickly but were bitter, and the tapioca pearls were mushy, and none of it had any sweetness. We were informed when we ordered that it would take about a half hour before we would get the main courses, which we said was okay. After about 30 minutes, the kitchen dish came out. After waiting another 40 minutes (over an hour from ordering) we never received any sushi. In the meantime, about a dozen orders of take out were completed while we sat there, ignored. The waitress would not make eye contact with us and so we decided to leave. We went to the cash register and told her we were going and that the bubble teas which we did not finish were not good. She removed them from the bill along with the sushi but after having us sit there for over an hour, she still charged us for all of the appetizers and the kitchen meal (I don't hold this against them, I just don't think that's the decent thing to do). Lastly, when we were leaving, we walked past the sushi bar and they had not even started preparing our order. This place was a complete waste of time. I would not...

This used to be a solid place to get Sushi in center city, but the quality has gone down significantly. In the last two times I ordered I wasn't thrilled with my food but because I used to have good experiences with them I gave them another chance. I just received shrimp tempura that is falling apart with a bad avocado, sushi that was haphazardly put together, and a mango avocado salad with a hair in it. Essentially, everything I ordered besides one roll and the miso soup is inedible and i'm really disappointed! I don't like leaving bad reviews because I never want to mess with anyones livelihood but what I received this time is beyond unacceptable. I can't believe they didn't have the decency to notice the avocado was bad and use a fresh one in the shrimp tempura roll. I hope this restaurant can get back to what it once was, but I will not be taking the risk of ordering...
