I drove an hour to get my computer fixed here (after every other repair shop turned me down) and it was well worth the drive!
Before discovering Bundy, I brought my 2017 iMac to an Apple store to get a memory upgrade (after already speaking to a support technician who scheduled an appointment for me). Even though I had an appointment specifically for an upgrade, the Apple “genius” told me it was impossible to upgrade my version. When I finally convinced them to research my model and see that it WAS possible they told me that THEY couldn’t do it, and that I should take it to an authorized repair technician.
So I called an authorized Apple technician a little closer to me and they too proceeded to tell me that it was IMPOSSIBLE to upgrade my Mac and that no technician would do it. But I knew that it was possible, so finally after researching many videos on how to upgrade it myself, I decided to contact ONE MORE shop and that’s when I called Bundy Computers.
David at Bundy was SO helpful and patient. He took the time to help me figure out my exact model (even waiting for me to start up my slow computer) and explained to me why most people will decline the upgrade. And because they knew I was driving from an hour away, they helped me arrange a time that was convenient for me and gave me an estimate of 3 hours for the upgrade (which was a pretty spot on estimate). Read moreThis place has been in business for years and we trust them with all of our computer needs. My mother used to get my computers and such from here when I was a kid so I remembered how reliable they are. My MacBook Pro which we bought from Bundy’s years ago (it is extremely old, late 2012, but it was working FINE) stopped working, wouldn’t charge despite the charger being new, wouldn’t charge with a different charger, and wouldn’t power on at all no matter what I tried, and I tried a lot of stuff I looked up online. Well I contacted Bundy’s who told me to bring it on in and when I did, they determined that whatever the problem was was a fluke and shouldn’t happen again. They ran some diagnostics to make sure and got my computer up and running and changed a few settings. They even said it’s operating on 80% battery strength which is fine for a super old computer, so they wouldn’t even let me try to just buy a new battery. Of course I expected to pay for that and even tried to insist but they told me they couldn’t dare charge me for doing that because it was basically nothing. Well the “nothing” they did had has my computer back up and running strong for weeks now. I not only appreciated their honesty, but this of course added to the trust I already had for them....

At that time I wanted to avoid hard resetting and losing everything on my ipad which had locked me out and wasn’t even offering me the option of using apple id login. The man gave me the impression of being extremely dismissive of my situation and unmotivated help in any way. Was unbothered to ask questions to understand the issue, didn’t give any helpful info and didn’t seem to care.
