I had a facial here on December 9 with Hannah. While the reviews of Heyday Rittenhouse speak for themselves (especially those praising Hannah's skills), I want to double down and say that Hannah was the most welcoming, talented, dedicated, gentle, and knowledgeable body enhancement professional I have ever encountered in my life. Her hands were magical--like a smooth velvet glove caressing my face. While her voice never rose above a soft whisper during the session, I could still hear her every word and her annunciations perfectly. The table I was laying on had the perfect firmness and support to where I could drift away to neverland. I think I had forgotten I had made a note that I was looking for a chatty Kathy so I was initially wondering why she was so quiet, yet I began to appreciate the tranquil environment and the peace within my space. She did several analyses of my face and pores and I lost count of how many hot towels she wrapped my face in. That was pure heaven! Moisturizers, spritzes, face and neck massage, And the ears!!! That was the penultimate. Hannah massaged my ears with such gentleness and care. I felt like a little baby. When my neck initially began to experience discomfort Hannah, went to find me a towel for neck support. Problem solved. This was my very first facial and it was exactly how I imagined a facial to be. She gently karate chopped my cheeks, caressed my eyebrows, relieved tension from my neck and shoulders, removed blackheads. During the entire 50 minute session, Hannah was engaged in some activity to enhance my face. There was no periods of down time or wasted movements. I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. She walked me out to the reception area and suggested a nice facial moisturizer, which was expensive as hell! But I love it. When I went home washed my face that evening and had a Google Meet with a woman I had met on a dating site, she could not stop going on and on about how handsome I looked! Now the only negative about this visit has ZERO to do with Hannah and her exceptional service. My issue was with the noise in the therapy area. Having come in from a crowded and noisy Chestnut street, I was hoping this space would be a respite from the chaos and traffic that was outside. While relaxing on the table, I heard chairs being wheeled to and fro, loud laughter and chatter coming from the corridor and therapy rooms, curtains being drawn loudly. While I was disappointed in the overall ambiance of the therapy session, Hannah's unique ability to transport me to a peaceful state in my mind is the main reason why I still give Heyday Rittenhouse a five star rating. Thank you Hannah and...

They offered for us to come back in and try it out again, and we agreed to go. I AM SO GLAD WE DID! The experience was wonderful, it was clean, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and their products are amazing!! I also love how each facial is customized for each client, instead of a one size fits all approach. Heyday also couldn't have been more apologetic regarding our prior incident. Mistakes happen and I'm glad Heyday used what happened to us as a learning experience. My mom and I will definitely be going back! And I've already recommended it to a few friends. 05/03/21: My first experience at Heyday could not have been worse. Although my facial was lovely, that was completely overshadowed by the horrible treatment my mom experienced. We visited Heyday as an early Motherās Day surprise. Upon our arrival we filled out our forms and my appointment was first. Upon informing my esthetician that I had waxed my upper lip in the last 24 hours she said she would only be able to give me a more gentle facial and assured me it would still be a wonderful experience. My mom, on the other hand, was not able to receive a facial at all after responding similarly to the question about waxing. Since the esthetician did not feel comfortable performing a facial on her after she had waxed, my mom had to wait in the lobby for 50 minutes while I finished my facial. This was supposed to be her relaxing Motherās Day experience but instead was very upsetting. This could not have been more of a worse experience and frankly the team at Heyday did nothing to compensate for it. There should be consistency in their company policy and guests should be made aware that if they wax they wonāt be able to receive the service they came to enjoy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy facial alone was very nice and I found it relaxing and casual compared to other places I've been, which I liked. And truthfully, did improve my skin. However, I have a gluten allergy and was very clear about that before starting my facial. My esthetician understood, did the facial and suggested products for me - I bought two, a cleanser and toner. After going home with my products and using them a few times, I discovered that the cleanser contains gluten and says so very clearly on the package and product website. Although I should have been more careful to check, I assumed that it was safe because we discussed my gluten allergy prior to starting the facial. I sent an email asking for a refund on the product and wanted to let them know to be more careful about using that specific cleanser. I received no response so I called a few days later. The person on the phone was not very kind or even remotely apologetic. My response to the product was not severe at all, but I would have expected at least a hint of empathy from the staff. All they said is that I can bring the product back for a refund. My facial was nice and my esthetician was kind, but I am very put off by the lack of product knowledge and the rudeness of the front of house staff - possibly because I was redeeming a free facial code? They also ask for a 20% tip at the end, which is presumptuous. AND the tip is based on how much you spend total - products included - not just your facial services, which is not cool. They don't tell you this ahead of time. Although the facial was good, I likely wouldn't go back due to my...
