I always an enjoyment when I come here. It's the reason why I adventure here. My most favorite 5 & Below. They didn't have extra large Maria from Disney's Aristocats jogging pants, but I did find it in a chain store much more closer to me. I never been to the 69th Jawn, but they only had one floor, but this place still out do the rest. I need more jogging pants. I have plenty of t-shirt I had purchased here & other places. Other places I purchased jeans & shorts & leggings (which I need more of too), but I need more pants that also can serve as pajamas too. I wished this store still had some incense around. Found the most lovely cat furniture. My cats immediately loved the cat scratching skateboard. My youngest daughter skateboards. Taking it from Mom who use to skateboard when I was in my youth till my ankles got weak. That was surprising that a girl skateboarded back then or even headbang or played video games. 😂 Tomboys rock! 🤘 I'm Aries so I guess that should be expected lol! 😉😁 They loved the catnip package that came with it. They're already rolling & digging their nails in it. They love the white daisy printed baby pink cat tunnel with hanging balls that was 11" inches wide. They can be picky girls. I have a Russian Blue-Grey, but also a white Persian & one of her names is Marie. She's a fancy princess, but a tomboy who definitely fits into our family. 😹 I love the toys that I saw there, but the ones that were left. They don't like plush that looks like a pillow no matter how I wish they would. They won't touch it. I did see a whimsical pizza cat toy that was a fishing lore, but my cats will literally destroy it, because of the silk rope & they honestly don't like plush toys. That's fine though. Maybe next time. I was thinking about buying it for my nextdoor neighbor's cat that needs more motivation, but tell her about it & she might get it on her own. The tunnel has much more thicker silk rope that won't tend gnaw off at all. Like I said my cats are picky, but also in their mayhem. 🤣 Anyways the phrase a long the leg says, 'picture purr-fect' & well I ironically just came from Penndot & got my photo taken. They also have Tinkerbell in pink along with matching hoodie. I had forgotten what it says, but I didn't want that one & I much rather have a zipper type of hoodie in case I get overheated. I can get claustrophobic sometimes so it's also for my health. But then again I was a tomboy & when playing basketball or outdoor games I would tie my jackets around my waist. Headbanger metal style. 😁😉 The pants & the hoodie is $12 each btw. Which I don't mind. Everyone was lovely at the store. Their parents should be very proud...
Read moreI have a stroller and two small children. We often go to five below because they have a good assortment of toys and games for a low price. Unfortunately, I will not be going to five below again for the foreseeable future. Today (1/17/21) I went through great pains to go down the Lit Brothers building elevator, so I could reach the downstairs portion of the store. I only do this because the store does not have an elevator in store. When I arrived at the Five Below/Ten Below entrance, the entrance was blocked and the garage door shutter had been pulled down. This is not the first time I noticed this. The last time, I had management help me bring my stroller and children down the stairs so we could shop. Today, I considered this, but out of respect for non compliance to ADA, I felt that it was better to withhold my money. I kept thinking about wheelchair bound customers not being able to shop in the toy area. I mean, would management be carrying an 120lb disabled person down the stairs? Therefore, out of solidarity to ADA laws I will no longer be shopping there. I will be informing all of my friends and colleagues to do the same. Non compliance to ADA in 2021 is completely...
Read moreThis store is all around awesome. So many items are available, from clothes, shoes, makeup, candy and toys, to household decorations/useful items, to adorable outfits for your puppy! And at $5 and under, most items are a great bargain. There are always new products available, but if they run out of stock you might not ever get another chance to purchase.
At this particular location, there is a section on the bottom floor called $10 below. It follows the basic principles as the original, but these items are of higher quality, but still reasonably priced. Lots of cool gadget finds here, as well as nice home decor (throw pillows, rugs, plants, etc). I found electronics that I would've paid 3 or 4 times as much for at a regular store. These items tend to fly off the shelves even faster than regular items so get them while you can!
Overall, I fully recommend stopping in, you won't be...
