Lamberti Pizza & Market — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I absolutely love Lamberti Pizza & Market, which is amazing since I don't usually gravitate to pizza! The food I receive is always fresh and filling without being too heavy. They have a large variety of menu items like sandwiches, wraps, salads (I love these three a lot), to "market" items like seafood pastas to-go, marinated olives, greenbean side dishes, and more! They even have dessert like tiramisu and water ice!

The interior of the store is always clean (I always see at least one staff member tending to tables or tidying surfaces when I'm there) and I always receive my order very quickly. Regulo and his staff are top-notch. They are all kind, responsive, personable, and a great part of the community! Regulo always checks in on me when I visit to make sure I'm good and taken care of-- special shout out to Johanna and Jolie (spelling?) that are often working in the afternoons that I visit!

Lamberti Pizza & Market also has discounts for hospital staff if you show your work ID! And in the afternoons all of the market items like sides, salads, and other goodies are 25% off!!!!!

The chicken that this store grills and uses for their lunch/dinner items is really tasty. Seasoned lightly, never dry, always a great texture, and perfectly portioned for each bite. I came to this pizzeria with a friend to get lunch and i ordered my slice of pizza along with a pastry and a water bottle. I’m waiting and notice that it’s taking longer than expected mind you the woman who took my order saw me waiting. my friend ordered after me and she got her food and i was still waiting. Until i asked a Spanish lady and she asks me where did i order and i tell her up front and i already paid. And she tells me with an attitude that i had to tell the guy who’s by the glass! Which the woman who took my order never told me and she also had taken a previous order without an issue. So im pissed and walk away!! The woman who took my order saw and had no intention on returning me my money!!! After she charged had no plans on giving me my pizza! So I go back and tell her to give me my receipt and she tells me she’s sorry because she did charge me without putting my order in to be prepared. I got my refund but no worker showed any empathy!! We were in the historic area visiting sites and wanted something besides the Dairy Queen that appeared to be the only place to eat nearby. We decided to wander a few blocks down and came across Lamberti Pizza. We walked in and were studying the menu and a gentleman, who we believe must have been the owner, stopped eating with his friend and came over to help guide us through and give tips. He definitely made our experience! The food was the best pizza we ate on a 10 day trip to the East coast! It was very clean and decorated perfectly. Prices were very affordable too.
