Our group had the best experience! The guides were very professional and attentive to everyone’s needs and comfort levels. Even for locals who think they know their city well, it was eye-opening to travel through the city by water- especially with the trip culminating at the Waterworks as the sun was setting. It was fascinating to get up close to some of the Waterworks structures that are otherwise completely inaccessible to the public. First of all what a wonderful time on the water. First timers where very comfortable. I am a long time kayaker. This is a relaxing trip, you meander gently through to the area where the damn is, then back to the put in area. This trip was beautiful at night! I felt safe in the neighborhood. I am from NJ and not a city girl. I paid for parking, but apparently you can park on the Walnut bridge too for free. Totally cool trip! They also spoke about the history and gave free water bottles.
