A Beer Garden with Views!

Don't be scared off by the other reviews on here - it's not some horrible abomination/the worst place in the entire universe/soooo overpriced. My Philly Burger (single cheese burger with Taylor ham/pork roll/whatever & a fried egg), "Highline fries" (shoestring fries with bacon and cheese) and a Simply Lemonade were cheaper than my usual bacon cheeseburger/fries/lemonade from Shake Shack. However, none of them were as good as Shake Shack: I loved the burger concept, but it was overcooked. My fries - again- loved the concept, and the flavours were there, but they were cold. Lemonade? They have fresh lemonade at Shake Shack. HOWEVER: while it was not as good as Shake Shack, it was still good! I wasn't angry, and I certainly didn't utter, "OH MY GOD, I SPENT $14 WHOLE DOLLARS ON MY MEAL AND IT WASN'T PERFECT. THE AUDACITY OF THIS PLACE! THEY SHOULD BE FEEDING ME MY BURGER FOR SUCH AN EXORBITANT PRICE!" Besides, the view/atmosphere are a billion times better than any cheap burger place in Philly; so gorgeous, and the weather at sunset was lovely. Come here to relax with your friends/partner/self for some pretty good food with a pretty amazing view. If they clean up the food execution, I will definitely upgrade it to 5 stars. Note: I can't comment on the beer because I don't drink beer - my review was for the food/atmosphere.

My fiancé and I had such a relaxing evening here last week! We came on a weekday (Tuesday) around 6pm and stayed until they closed at 9pm. We brought our picnic blanket and our own snacks and had a wonderful time just laying there listening to the music they played. I do suggest bringing your own snacks/food. Sunset Social is free to enter and in a great location overseeing the Schuylkill River and the city. They have a well kept lawn where you can seat yourself or lay your blankets, and seating with tables underneath of their tent. They also have a snack stand and beverages, highly recommend the frozen mango margarita! I plan on coming here regularly throughout the summer and suggest all locals to stop here at least once this summer!

I went to an event around the summer time for a movie at 6pm. I got there a lil before 6pm and i wish i would of left work abit earlier. The location itself is beautiful. It makes you feel like it's exclusive just for you....until you get there depending on the event. Word from the wise: make sure that if its a movie night, get there 2 hours early. That should give enough time for parking, waiting for the slow elevator to get you to the top floor and once there finding a good spot to sit and getting food if you are buying. The line for the food was outrageous. There must of been 20 ppl in front of me and the line was not moving at all.

The layout is beautiful though. I would definitely give this place another chance . I love how you can sit in the grass. Just have a blanket, some pillows, a bag for trash and make sure to pack your patience since kids are allowed to come so just come aware that there may be people that may not be mindful of your area . Also, if your going solo just try to get what you need ahead of time before hand just so you don't have to leave your...

The space itself is the draw, not necessarily the restaurant.

Cira Green is a rooftop park with a lovely view that we brought our dogs to (there is a dedicated dog park area but this was pretty muddy so we sat outside of it...which I'm not sure we are supposed to do). There are a ton of seating options and even a nice sloped grass area that I imagine is really nice for events. There is a huge TV screen on the side of the building that was playing a college football game while we were there. All I could think of while there was how nice a sunset movie night would be here, which is apparently a thing they do.

The views are great overlooking the river.

The beer options themselves were fairly limited and they were out of the two we initially ordered. Ultimately grabbed some wine which was on the pricier side but not so much more than you would expect from an outdoor venue like this. Parking isn't the easiest but there is pretty accessible parking along the river. Would definitely consider coming back for one of their...
