La Catrachita Taqueria (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Not many options for non-meat eaters. But according to my sister and nephew the tacos are unbeatable. I ordered the tacos Especiales, no meant no cheese. My sister got the chicken birria. Both were $21. This place is expensive. But the portions are really good. Its just costly. Both came with 3 hot sauces, orange was my fav and the hottest, red was hot and spicy and my sisters fav. The green was mild. The tacos especiales came with nopales(cactus) bell peppers and onions. But but very seasoned. And had cheese so i couldnt finish eating it. I ordered the birria tacos and consommé. The tacos were crispy and delicious with a good amount of cheese and beef. The salsas, grilled onions, cucumbers and radishes that came with it really complimented the tacos. The consommé really added flavor to the tacos but was also delicious on its own. I would happily drink a bowl of that by itself. Highly recommend...

It was just “ok” I didn’t like the fact the birrira quesadilla was not crisp it didn’t have a crunch, it was basically falling apart. The Consommé was just “ok”. The Tacos… Same I would’ve went 2-3 other place with better portions, taste and at least $15-$20 less than what I spent on their Tacos, Quesadillas and 2 beverages…
