Pier 5 Condominiums — Local services in Philadelphia

I typically don’t write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to do so given my recent experience with Pier 5 condominiums. I work as an independent contractor and was scheduled to perform work for a client at Pier 5 condominiums. Upon my arrival, the door person was extremely rude to me for parking my car incorrectly. After making the necessary adjustments to my car, I was then screamed at by the door person. She even went so far as to push a sign that explained the parking rule embedded in a concrete bucket in my face. In order to not further escalate the situation I informed the door person that I would be leaving. This experience caused me to lose money as I was not able to work for my client on that particular occasion. It was an unbelievable situation that I had never been in before. Obviously this is not a reflection on their living accommodations, but maybe useful information about how they may potentially treat...

I am contractor and have worked on a number of units for many of years. The staff have always been very courteous and helpful if I ever had any issues or needed assistance. As far as the units go they very well built. The quality of the design and structure is 2nd to none and insures that the residents will have little to no issues with their units. Pier 5 has that small community feel where everyone knows everyone and are always willing to help their neighbors. You can see many of them talking and laughing with one another as you walk around the open air atrium. Overall I would highly recommend Pier 5 and would be confident in saying it's one of the best if not the best place to live...

My friend and I rented unit 130 and would not recommend it. We felt our landlord was a jerk, and did the minimum possible to fix the place when there were issues. Overall, the place feels old and dingy, and on top of that, when we moved out we did not get any of our $2700 security deposit back and received no explanation regarding any deductions.
