We rented a slip last year, and were promised repeatedly before doing so that we would not be held to the lease if we sold and/or moved the boat. We were told stories about how many people there were on the waiting list. We were also told that we would be able to get a refund for about $700 if we moved out early. Yes we were even given an amount that the refund would be. We moved the boat in in October, and the rent was $1500 for October through May. Upon selling the boat in November due to having to move - only one month after signing the lease - we were told to f* off (paraphrasing). The refund story changed the day/hour we moved out. Suddenly, the person who previously told us repeatedly we would get a refund (and that she had gotten numerous other people refunds before) told us she did not have power/control over whether/not we get a refund. After moving some things to the car, we went back to try to talk to her again, about her earlier promises. She made up some excuse about how we had slammed some door, and was extremely rude and aggressive about that being the (fake) reason she wouldn't give us a refund. (This was 100% b.s. - we were way too exhausted to be anything but mellow, and no one had slammed any door.) When we tried to explain we hadn't had the energy to be angry or slam any door - it was moving day - she got even more histrionic/upset and kept talking over us about how she was "a nice guy" and we were not. We waited for her to calm down and called back a couple of months later, hoping she would honor her repeated promises to give us a refund, and we were told she "couldn't do anything about it." It became clear we had been lied to repeatedly so the marina could get our business, and once they had our money they still kept lying, until we actually asked for the refund. So we paid $1500 to dock the boat there for 1 month. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. IF YOU MUST DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, GET WHATEVER THEY TELL YOU IN WRITING IN THE CONTRACT. IF THEY MAKE YOU A PROMISE, HAND-WRITE IT AND MAKE THEM INITIAL IT IN...
Read moreI've had my boat in this marina for more than a year and am mostly pleased with this experience. Many of the patrons at Peirs are friendly, knowledgeable and non-intrusive.
The management team here are among the friendliest, most helpful and quickiest to address maintenance issues in the industry.
The bathrooms are almost always very clean and well stocked.
There is a nice, shaded gathering area, with a barbeque, table, comfy chairs and beautiful flower garden, which is protected by "Gnome Land Security".
Above all else, the location of this top-notch facility is amazing and not typical. After a long day of playing you can take a short walk over the Market Street bridge where you will find great food, bars and a city rich with history.

Read moreI've lived here for over 5 years now and love how quiet and peaceful the environment is on the pier. However, this place is very poorly managed and even more poorly maintained considering the outrageous condo fee we pay monthly. The amenities are very good but need updating desperately...but this place should be poppin considering the location is perfect and the waterfront views are spectacular. Unfortunately the board does not share any information with the residents or owners until after they make decisions on updating the property and do not consider the residents...
