LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Went yesterday first time in a while since We haven't eaten in a whole lot since covid!! We went around 4:30 pm so wasn't a long wait. Staff who waited on us very nice even if seemed short handed and took while bring asked for items to table u had to ask 2 or 3 times to remind but understandable seeing not many servers. Food was very good hubby had renegade steak asked med well came out more med with some blood oozing to me thats not Med Well..but tender & tasty as were the sides! I totally enjoyed the toasted steak sandwich tender & was a whole strip of steak w/Swiss fried onions loved it…not shaved typical cheesesteak also i got a side of soup corn shrimp lobster chowder very good but not so much that id make it a got to have item next time..for me

**One big negative i DID NOT like was they put together a table of like 10 people smack dab next to us.. no masks yappin laughing etc well fine good but there is lots of room to put groups!!! Fact there was a completely open empty bar area as well as other areas in the room!! Can be used for groups considering twe are NOT out of the woods. as to covid &.do i know they were vaxed or not plus no masks? Esp us elderly with lung disease heart diabetes cancer in past even if we are vaxed or not smack dab next to groups..but really we did not want to embarrass group or us by complaining… but come on now in fact the girl (same girl as in next review ugh) who set that table up for the party of 10 pushing tables together for them..was abrupt and bit rude when we asked third time can she get us someone get us some sauce?? Anyhow all in all great food but please if u got open deserted areas & rooms please use your brain & caution Management should go by covid PRECAUTIONS.. stop placing groups on top of other.

6/23 another review really disappointed that they did away with the toasted cheesesteak my favorite. And they have so called Host/ Greeter at walk in desk older girl who possibly may be mgmt (she was involved negatively with the previous review a yr ago)! She did NOT open her mouth no a hello or welcome not a how many & no follow me please .. nor a dang enjoy your meal just turned walked away i honestly thought her a mute.. i think if ur face looks like that & hate ur job do something else! i actually said hi & thank you ! surprised she still here as she had same miserable look each time see her. Food was ok service just ok they are not attentive at this location..food just ok but steak portions bigger juicier than millers ale...

2025 the 1st this place sucks get rid of your tables in the middle like no one wants to sit surrounded by others eating like it’s like a prison lunch room get all booths for everyone give people space when out eating don’t pack people in this is 2025

Never had any problems here with him...

I was debating between giving two or three stars for this review, but just can't give it three because I feel that means I could possibly go back - and I have no plans on doing that with this location. The experience was very disappointing for us. We usually go to the one in Bala but were closer to this one, so thought why not check it out - we won't do that again.

The service was slower which felt odd since it was Monday and not many people in there, but seemed like our waiter was the one serving everyone so it made sense it took him a while sometimes. The Wild West Shrimp was still decent, but our entrees didn't taste as good or the same quality that we've had at the other location. The presentation of the food also left a lot to be desired. On top of that, when my boyfriend went to pick up his silverware, I saw a piece of hair on the napkin - and it was a long curly piece/strand, hard to miss. Of course we asked for another one and when they brought him another one out, he saw another one on the new set so had to ask for another one (showed them where it was). That made both of us kind of lose our appetite a bit and threw the whole meal off even more

We decided we won't be dining in at this one moving forward and will just stick to the one on City Ave whenever we decide/want to go to a chain...
