I wholeheartedly enjoy seeing Erik at Ritual for tarot readings. He relies on the cards to steer the conversation (as opposed to asking leading questions and reading body language) and uses his intuition to provide a truly consultative session. I went into this service with skepticism, but have found Erik’s readings to be 100% accurate and I use our sessions to help guide my day-to-day life. He is the opposite of other so-called readers that provide vague, useless information and a push to buy additional services after asking several leading questions – Erik is the real deal! Additionally, I find his calm, composed, and compassionate nature comforting, which creates a space for open-mindedness and exploration. He’s the best!
On another note, in addition to being a wonderful place to visit for tarot readings, Ritual Shoppe is such a wonderful place to shop. Whether buying a gift for yourself or someone else, you will find jewelry that is unique and unlike anything else you will find in Philadelphia. They also have a wide selection of sage sticks, fragrances for you and your home, bath and body supplies, candles, cards, crystals/stones, tarot cards, books, and so many other delightful things! Each item feels bespoke and curated specifically for your experience. This place is...
Read moreTHIS PLACE IS RACIST. Me and my friend (both black women) visited this shop and the employees did not greet us whatsoever and a white couple walked in right after us and they greeted them loudly and kindly. It is almost 2023 and I was appalled by how they blatantly failed to acknowledge our existence. I am very knowledgable about crystals and was planning on purchasing there, but after experiencing that, they lost my business. How can you claim to be a spiritual shop and fail to treat people with kindness? It’s a very low vibrational shop for a store that claims to be about spiritual healing. If you really want a store for spiritual items, go to Rocky’s Crystal and Minerals shop. I went there after and had a much much...
Read moreBeautiful shop, but known to be unwelcoming to people of color. I visited this shop for the first time last week and I spent about 10 minutes there. During my entire time in the shop I was never greeted or spoken to at all. The employees did, however, greet and attend to customers who came in after me. I was the only black person there during my visit. I tried not to take it personal and I still made a purchase. But after checking some yelp reviews and learning that other people of color had similar experiences I had to make sure I left a review. For this to be a spiritual shop it has very low vibrations. Hopefully the owner and employees can see these reviews...
