I really appreciated the friendly and fun atmosphere at the salon—everyone was kind and the vibe was cozy. However, my experience with hair coloring was less than ideal. I came in with very blonde hair, hoping to go to a darker blonde/light brown, but after the owner finished the job, I ended up with a grey/green tint. I attached the image of what my hair looked like, and they were going to have me walk out of the salon like that! After expressing my dissatisfaction, the staff tried to fix it, and while it improved, my hair still has a noticeable grayish/greenish hue weeks later instead of the light brown I requested (and showed multiple reference pictures of!). The staff was accommodating, but the color results were not what I expected.

Additionally, despite clearly stating that I did not want any hair to be cut, the owner insisted, assuring me it would be a complimentary 'dusting' of about a quarter-inch. However, I was unexpectedly charged $90 for this service. The unexpected charge for a 'dusting' that I felt pressured into getting left me less than pleased.

Prices are very high, but I guess that it to be expected for...

I had a very disappointing experience with Sandra at G Salon. I came in with long hair and specifically requested long layers, showing her more than 10 to 15 photographs for reference. While she is sweet, kind, and professional, she didn’t deliver what I asked for. Instead of the long layers I wanted, she chopped my hair in a way that the first layer resembles a bob cut. I’ve never felt my hair looked this ugly before. Right from the beginning, I emphasized that I didn’t want to reduce the length as I love my long hair, which I’ve spent two years growing. Sandra claimed to have 40 years of experience, but what she delivered was a complete disaster.

I paid $100, and not only did I waste my money, but my hair looks terrible. I’ve been crying ever since I got home, and this has been incredibly stressful and disturbing. I would not recommend her services to anyone looking for a proper haircut.

I don’t know how much more money and effort and time I’ll have to put in to grow my hair...

I cannot say enough amazing things about G and Allie. I'm very particular about my hair and had never colored or changed it in any way prior to this appointment, so I was hesitant to trust a place I had never been to. However, I am THRILLED with the result and had the most positive possible experience. They listened to my wishes, made me feel incredibly comfortable, and accommodated my picky tendencies. I was looking for a subtle change that didn't require much maintenance, and that is exactly what I got. It looks absolutely amazing! My hair feels softer than ever and looks vibrant. Allie even gave me a complimentary photo shoot afterward to show off my new look! (photos attached). I've already received so many compliments and cannot wait to...
