(December of 2022) I went to the Ritz for a massage and it was amazing!! I highly recommend. They catered to me and made me feel so comfortable. - When I got there I was told to get into the sauna for 25 minutes to help loosen my muscles and then they took me to a beautiful room where the massage was. This was probably one of the best massages I've ever had. The overall experience was amazing. (READ UPDATED REVIEW BELOW)

(March of 2024) I felt compelled to update my spa review after a follow-up visit that starkly contrasted my initial, outstanding massage experience. Upon my arrival, the spa was noticeably empty, and I was promptly escorted to the massage room, bypassing the sauna—an inclusion I hadn't needed to request previously. They did let me use the sauna but the massage bed was still not ready once it was time for the massage to start. The room was freezing and the table had a makeup-stained headrest, which I requested to be changed.

As soon as the massage started I knew it was going to be a flop. There was a lot of rubbing and pushing but almost no massaging taking place. When the women was rubbing up and down on my back I could tell that she wasn't aware of the anatomy of the muscles because she was rubbing in strange directions where my muscles were actually moving all over and it was painful. Immediately she started doing a chopping motion up and down my body and made it clear that she was in a rush. She did not massage the entire body and really only focused on the upper back.

To conclude the session, an application of oil caused an unbearable burning and itching sensation on my skin. Adding insult to injury, there was a discrepancy between the initially quoted price and the amount charged when leaving. I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for this place. My girlfriend and I came here on a Wednesday for her birthday. I purchased the 90 mins facial, deep tissue massage, and sauna from Groupon for about $114 each. Upon entering the massage/facial room we were impressed by the cleanliness and nice aesthetics. The place looked very new and beautiful. They started with the deep tissue massage. It was a little weak for me, but my friend did have to tell her masseus to lighten up. Eitherways, they kept checking up on us to make sure it wasn’t painful and it was quite relaxing. Afterwards, we flipped over for the facial. It included gentle extractions, lots of moisturizers, and a face mask at the end. The gentle extractions really cleaned out my nose blackheads without making my nose red. The moisturizers have my face still very soft 2 days later. They added a lip mask after noticing my lips were dry that was amazing. My lips are dry no matter what I do and they are significantly better even 2 days later. Afterwards, they let us use the sauna. They said we had 15 mins but they let us use it for however long we want. They had a shower there and basic makeup for afterwards. Also a dyson hair dryer. We ended up spending about 2.5 hours there. Will be back!

Easy to make a reservation. Received a reminder text the day before. Easy to find the location. There was a sign on the wall and one of those standing signs outside.

You can take the stairs up to the second floor and ring the doorbell or take the elevator. There was a sign on the door when I walked up that said if they don't answer the door, take the elevator. They opened for me.

Changed into slippers, confirmed my Groupon, asked if I'd like water or to use the restroom, then was shown to my room for the facial.

The friendly staffed explained what I needed to change into then exited the room for my privacy. She came back a couple minutes later to get started. But first, she added an extra blanket and adjusted my leg rest for comfort. Oh, and there was a heating mat on the bed. It felt amazing!!

She explained what was going to be done, checked if there was any adjustment needed, and was attentive to my movements.

The extraction was not as painful as I was expecting which was great! The massage was so relaxing I wish I could get one daily. The mask was cold and refreshing. She left the room for a while during the mask part. I was so comfortable I was about to fall asleep.
