Read moreFound a Groupon for a 1hr couples massage with hot stones and oil for $120. Their full price is $90 for a 1hr solo massage. We chose this place because of all the raving reviews, but I am not sure I would recommend this place.
The ambiance of this place does not resonate with that of a spa. We were told to enter the massage room but weren’t instructed to take our clothes off, which made things a bit awkward when the masseuses came in. Halfway through the massage session, we could hear staff speaking fairly loudly in the room next to us. Ironically, there’s a sign in the hallway that requests customers speak in small voices to keep everyone comfortable.
The masseuses were also very strong and kept pressing and pushing on my bones, which made the massage quite painful for me. There was a language barrier, so I wasn’t sure if she would understand me if I said it was painful, which was my mistake for not speaking up. The hot stones were placed on my back with no warning, leading to me being scalded. Lastly, as we were leaving, we tipped 20% of the total price we paid for the massage, but the masseuses did not seem satisfied. I left with knots on my shoulders, which were not there before the massage...
Read moreThis was my second time here. We arrived and they asked for payment immediately and we didn't even get a massage yet. The massage was good except she mostly just did my back. I paid for a full body massage and there should have been given the same amount of time on each part. The lady didn't speak English, so when I said you are doing it too hard she kept going. Afterwards we came out to the front and they immediately asked for a tip, three ladies were like tip tip tip. This was ridiculous. I am never coming back to this place. I previously went to this spa and paid afterwards. The lady who gave me a massage main focus was my back and I paid for a full body massage. If your spa was her in business for a long time then y'all should know better. Do not cheat the customer by not doing what they paid for. This is unacceptable as well as the response from the owner. If your mostly going to focus on one part of the body do not post for full...
