Brooklyn Bedding was the third mattress store we had tried that day while looking for a new mattress for myself. The other stores had lots of options that were entirely too expensive for the kind of mattress I wanted (a firm hybrid). The second I walked into Brooklyn Bedding, I was greeted by smiling staff. I knew what I wanted and had a firm price point, and the sales folx at BB were right on target. Very friendly, asked lots of good questions, looked for ways to find us a bigger discount (yeah teacher discount!), and just generally made the process so easy. Tried a few beds and was hesitating between two, and they told us all mattresses have a 120 day try out period and if I wanted to switch to the other one, I would just have to pay the difference. This made it a lot easier to make my choice and I feel like I’ll be taken care of if the bed doesn’t work out. Delivery was free, and super efficient - they wanted to deliver same day! Liz at Brooklyn Bedding was so helpful! I had an unusual problem of needing a full XL, which is very hard to find. After checking many stores I had almost resigned myself to buying something online sight unseen, but one call to Brooklyn Bedding changed that. Liz said they could manufacture the full XL for me! In addition, I had a twin bed I’d purchased previously from Brooklyn Bedding called the Brooklyn Plush that I really liked the softness of (or firmness, however you look at it), and although they had just discontinued that model, she was able to have them use one of the queen mattresses still left to cut to the size of a full XL for me. Perfect! I later called back and asked if I could also order a low profile foundation in full XL, and Liz ordered that for me as well. The prices for both items were incredibly affordable, even lower than many online prices, and I didn’t have to wait long for them to be manufactured and delivered to my home.
