Honestly the worst card shop in town. I walked in and asked if they were buying sports cards. They said we are buying sports cards 50 dollars and over. They proceed to pick out a couple cards worth about 800 including a Nikola Jokic autograph worth $400 and they offered 110 cash or 120 store credit. There cards are also way overpriced and they phrase there titles of cards on their website to show you the highest sales on eBay. They are not willing to negotiate at all and "Adam" the owner is honestly a really annoying scam artist. There value bins are also the worst I have ever seen. There are much better shops in town, please go check out other shops like AMS sports cards who give really fair offers at 70-80% and all there cards are really fairly priced at what they are worth. Also saw a little boy next to me at DNA and Adam the owner tried convincing him that all his cards were inexpensive and offered him literally 5% of what they were worth. All of there boxes are listed as 30-40% more than what they are worth to. His wife works there to and knows nothing about cards she sits there like a blob eating pizza, and doing nothing. Employees are all annoying. Saw Adam drinking alcohol in the back while kids where in the store also. Overall please do not come here unless you enjoyed...
Read moreCame in to possibly trade or sell some cards. Was not introduced or greeted which was an initial interesting start to this interaction. I brought in a tote of cards and the husband wife duo seemed confused when seeing which boxes they had gone through (5-6 boxes maybe) has if they had thrown in the towel before checking everything out. The husband showed more attention in my interest to his shoes on display vs our whole interaction at all. After the wife grabbed 68 of my Pokemon cards. All holos and some hitters. I was offered $50 cash or $55 store credit. No wiggle room. When I attempted to compare the value of one card to the offer I was shown a tcg listing of $4-$5 meaning. I wasn't even getting a $1 card. I later that same day sold that stack alone for a significantly larger amount including the rest of my cards. I'd maybe only go here to shop.
Edit after their reply. I gave no number or had any unrealistic assumption vs the offer I received. I brought in Pokémon and sports cards. Showing me the value of a near mint cards you're only paying dimes for doesn't make much sense. As well as offering me only $5 more...
Read moreDefinitely not what I was thinking when I entered. Visually it’s a nice shop. Business wise definitely doesn’t have the best practices. Over charge on cards they have for sale by 2X to 3X more than worth, offered WAY under on comps for than any other card shop I’ve been too! Offered %40 percent. Horrible. Customer services definitely wasn’t that great, I’d hate to say it but I think me being a little darker didn’t help. They sure helped everyone else quick and fast. when I did get help it was for a couple of seconds and then the manager or whoever he is left to help other people. Well the other employee was walking around and could have helped those people but the manger or whatever he was definitely didn’t have the enthusiasm of wanting to help me out, well I waited around for awhile. They didn’t leave the other guy to wait around when they were dealing with him and his sale. So why did I get left to wait and then LOW BALLED? Hmm overall I wouldn’t take my kid back to this place. Definitely other great shops. To each...
