The place has potential.. The first time I came, it was outstanding, but today just wasn't the same. My original server was amazing! He was a tall slim friendly fellow.. I'd like to think his name is Josh, but I can't recall. He was happy to be working and happy to be serving. He really made my experience exceptional.. Today was not like my original visit. Of course, "Josh" was working, but he wasn't at the front.. The issue is the new employee, or at least new to me, she was not pleasant. I noticed upon entering that she offered the receipt to the customer before us & got ignored. I saw the emotion on her face, so I was gesturing towards her acknowledging the discomfort. No one likes to be ignored; I get it. As we waited we were greeted by "Josh" from behind the bagels. When we got to the counter, we received less than the expected experience. We placed our order & went to our table. "Josh " hopped on our order as we were speaking to the cashier. He made a delicious bagel for me & my date as usual.. except we were shocked to find the cashier wasn't paying much attention because as we sat down, from across the room, she yelled to us if it was for here or to-go... My date & I found that to be slightly rude.. nevertheless, we enjoy our bagels. Parched, I walk up to the same woman for a water cup & thanked her. SHE DOESN'T ACKNOWLEDGE MY GRATITUDE. She did this pitiful "thank you" under her breath as we leave. The only thing to save this experience was low and behold "Josh" was out front (for reasons unknown.. they weren't busy, so I see no issue) He politely greeted us & asked if we enjoyed our bagels. Our issues weren't with him, so of course we told him we enjoyed the bagels! Thanked him & went on our way...
All I ask is if we could just switch them back more "Joshs'" in the front and less friendly...
Read moreIf you are looking for a delicious toasted bagel Einsteins is the place to go. But, this location needs some work. No trash can in the rear part of the store. The bathrooms could use a remodel as well as some extra scented and long lasting scent. Some employees need to learn to smile. Not all but a couple. I can say the young lady and a few times a young man taking my order are always very nice and smiling. And last Thursday the girl upfront taking the money is always really nice. And the crew, about 3 sometimes 4, making the orders, were great. They were smiling and when I picked up my order I said thank you and as busy as it was they still turned and smiled at me. And on the way out I made sure to tell the crew how good my bagel was and see them next time and they thanked me and smiled. And now just need to get the older man working there to be a little more jovial. They need to get some more lighting and or open the shades. The coffee needs to be improved, I was with three other people and they said to me the coffee is not good!! Look for me, on Good Morning Michael, soon to be the newest pod cast...
Read morethe food was okay, but when i showed up to pick up my curb side pickup order i ended up waiting so long that i just went in and got it (nearly 10 mins, despite my car being the only one there when i first pulled in) and when i went in to get it i realized that nobody had brought my food out because they were too busy standing clustered together by the register cracking jokes to be bothered. when i approached the counter and one employee had to make the girl responsible for the register aware i was even there, i told her i had a pickup order that i’d been waiting outside for and nobody brought it. she quickly ran over and grabbed my bag of food, said “i’m sorry about that” and before i could even say ANYTHING back the other employee over by the grill thing behind the register decided to chime in with “oh you should be!” all sarcastic. what outstanding customer service, to sit there and sarcastically laugh about their shortcomings on service, literally right in front...
