White House Black Market — Local services in Phoenix

We're vacationing here in Scottsdale & staying at Westin Kierland. We went for a walk around the property and made an unplanned stop at Kierland Commons. I was very underdressed but 70 percent of my wardrobe is from WHBM in Normal Illinois. I went to the store. 3 were working. I wandered around for 15-20 minutes. All 3 looked right at me at least once and none of the 3 said hello or asked if they could help me. I went to the desk and asked if the manager was there today. She told me she was. I told her of my experience to which she said "oh - sorry" I said that it was my attire because other customers were being greeted and helped.

By the way, I am a fine jewelry manager and left there feeling grateful that none of those prejudging people worked for me. If they did I would either help them or get rid of them. I am betting they are walking a lot of business with the managers obvious problem with prejudging. And you know the speed of the leader is the speed of the gang. I have NEVER been treated like...

I used to shop here religiously. Lived the style and quality. However... the quality has gone down considerably.... but the price has not.

I find that the clothing lasts very few wears and they stand behind nothing you buy past 60 days.

I recently bought a sweater with a belt attached.... 5 minutes into wearing I adjusted the belt to tie it and the holders that were sewn into the sides completely came off.... and no I wasnt tying it tightly... or anything else unusual.

I also recently purchased a cardigan from there... something I havent done in many years.... and when I came home to compare it to one that is still beautiful and holding up after 8 years or so..... the new one is so completely thin and devoid of substance and shape next to it.

I would caution anyone who likes their clothing... it has turned to fast fashion. I wpuldnt expect mich and I dont believe I will be going back after this experience. Fool me once.... shame on you. Fool me...

For years and years Ive always felt pre judged at the WHBM Kierland store. I typically will wander in - in workout attire on a day I have off where I have formerly worked out. I don't know if they feel Im too young to be shopping there - not dressed up enough to be in the store - I honestly have no idea what goes on in their minds. I would avoid the store at times I wanted to go in - and just shop online. I love the products and the sales they have. Online customer service is always great.
